Some interwebs and BMW geeks have recently posted interesting images with the F25 X3 LCI receiving some facelifts and some changes to the interior too. The BMW X3 will be facing the market in June 2014.

The leaked photos reveal some changes made to the front-end, meaning that the X3 would receive full-LED headlights and a revised bumper.

Inside the cabin, the BMW X3 features the new iDrive Touch system, along with updated trims.

Under the hood, there seem to be no major changes on the engine. Still, the BMW X3`s fans can opt between the four and the six-cylinder engines in petrol and diesel.

On the US market, the engines should be carried out with a choice between a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and the 3.0-liter TwinPower six-cylinder.

Still, for the first time in the US market, the BMW X3 will receive a diesel engine, starting with the first half of 2014.
Even if it is not confirmed, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine will be put on the midsize premium SAV.

The production of the F25 BMW X3 facelift will start in April at the German Spartanburg plant in South Carolina.

Hamann released photos and details on their new tuning package for the BMW X3. The German model receives a series of styling improvements including 21-inch Anniversary Evo wheels with Vredestein Ultrac Vorti R tires and few other styling improvements.

However, the performance tweaks are more important here as there is a wide range of units which received a power boost.

The BMW xDrive 35i gets a power hike of 48hp and 49Nm of torque to a total of 348hp and 449Nm. On the other hand, the BMW 35d delivers 350hp and 695Nm of torque, while other diesels such as 18d and 20d also benefit from improvements.

Last but not least, a revised suspension system lowers the ground clearance by 35mm.

“The high-performance tyres are designed for extreme sporting challenges at speeds above the 300 km/h mark and therefore an ideal partner for HAMANN,” says the tuner.

Alpina introduced the new XD3 Biturbo at this year’s edition of the Geneva Motor Show, a model based, as you probably guessed, on the F25 X3.

In terms of styling, the German company provides a special blue finish, new 20-inch Alpina Classic wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, new side skirts and a stainless steel exhaust system.

Inside, buyers will find new door sills, revised sport steering wheel, leather seats and new floor mats. Other improvements brought by Alpina include a new exhaust manifold and electronically-adjustable dampers.

Power is offered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine producing 350 hp and 700Nm of torque. It is linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission from ZF and returns fuel economy figures of 41,5mpg US or 6,8 liters/100km, impressive figures to be honest.

The additional power for the Alpina XD3 Biturbo is obtained thanks to two turbochargers, variable turbine geometry and common-rail direct injection.

The new BMW X3 F25 it’s now eligible with the M Sport package developed by the German engineers. The Bavarian SUV gets special components able to improve the aerodynamics and the aesthetics but also two new engines scheduled to be introduced soon. We talk about a 3.0-liter six-cylinder petrol engine able to develop 258 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque and a 3.0-liter diesel able to deliver the same amount of horses but slighty more torque, 560 Nm.

The new BMW X3 was recently revealed at the Paris Auto Show but the Germans already release the M Sport package, a package which will be available starting next year.

The new F25 X3 gets a new set of chromed exhaust pipes, a new air deflector and a redesigned front bumper with large air intakes. New 18 to 20 inch rims are available too while at the interior the M Sport package brings aluminum trim, leather sports seats and a new steering wheel. The suspension of the model was revised too in order to provide better handling and ride comfort.
