The BMW 2-Series was numerously caught on camera, first with the M235i showing off on the roads, while the 2-Series Convertible was also the star of some spied shots.

The BMW 2-Series Convertible seen in the shots, will replace the 1-Series Convertible, resembling its coupe sibling exactly, except for the soft-top roof folding in just a second into its trunk.

The 2-Series Convertible will be coming with the same engine lineup seen on the 2-Series Coupe, namely on the base 228i model.

We are talking about a turbo four unit developing 240 horsepower, alongside a much sportier M235i Performance being powered by a turbo six, with 322 horsepower.

The BMW 2-Series`s engines will be hooked to a standard six-speed manual or an optional eight-speed automatic transmission.

The power will be sent to the rear wheels, but there would also be an xDrive all-wheel drive options, as it is already offered in the US.

The BMW 2-Series Convertible will be unveiled at the end of the year and will hit its dealerships in Europe, probably in the spring of the same year.

The BMW German based manufacturer will be showing off at the upcoming 2014 New York Auto Show with its latest creations, the X3 Diesel and the X5 PHEV concept.

The BMW X3 and the plug-in concept will be launched on the market starting next month, both coming as a 2015 version.

First, the BMW X3 diesel xDrive28d will be powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder twin turbo-diesel unit, developing a good 180 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque.

More than that, the X3 SUV will sport an eight-speed automatic transmission, and will be able to sprint from 0 to 100 km in around 8 seconds.

The X3 will cost around $42,800, with $3,500 more than the standard X3, the SUV being more fuel-efficiency, with 22 miles per gallon in the US.

On the other side, the X5 eDrive concept plug-in hybrid will also be brought at New Yew York. The SUV is equipped with a gasoline engine developing a fair 245 horsepower, backed by an electric motor that adds 85 horses.

The X5 plug-in hybrid is able to run and additional 20 miles on electric power, with a fuel-efficiency of around 62 miles per gallon.

A new limited edition of BMW 760Li is now available for the Middle Eastern market. The star from BMW with its V12 engine comes with a plastered M badges on the trunk and side panels.

The limited edition BMW 760Li will be launched by the main dealership from Saudi Arabia, Mohamed Yousef Naghi Motors. The edition was displayed at “You are the Queen Expo”, in front of the VIP guests present at the show.

The MBW 760Li with M Sport Badge is displayed with a Nappa Oyster leather inside and with available colors of orange, blue, red or black, contrasting the M color stitching.

But customers can also order the limited edition with its exclusive colors like Monte Carlo Blue, Silverstone II and Imola Red. The rear boot lid received the “M” badging engraved in dark chrome. The door sills and the door handles also received the same dark chrome.

The 6.0-liter V12 Twin Turbo engine under the hood, produces a tough 544 horsepower, with 750 Nm of torque. The engine propels the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds, being helped by its eight-speed automatic transmission.
