BMW Concept Active Tourer is the first BMW that has front-wheel drive (FWD). This model is a MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) that will compete with B-Class from Mercedes.

It was presented at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show where it was greatly appreciated by all visitors. BMW Active Tourer will be released in about 2 years.

BMW claims a fuel consumption of just 1.5L/100km because of EfficientDynamics, all this consumption of a 3-cylinder gasoline engine which outputs 190hp (140kW) on a hybrid plug-in platform eDrive architecture.

The future BMW Active Tourer will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in only 7.9s which is very good considering the weight at which we expect to be higher than the normal BMW cars, that because to battery present inside it.

Once this BMW Active Tourer remains only battery, its autonomy will be somewhere for just 30km, which means you should be headed to the nearest place where you have to fuel with gasoline.

The design of BMW Concept Active Tourer is very futuristic with dynamic design lines as well we can see in the pictures.

The interior is illuminated with a red-orange tint, a warm light with glossy plastic and leather board with a modern color.

People in Australia will be getting a treat as BMW will be launching the Z4 sDrive35is which is the car manufacturer’s high performance roadster. Considered to be a follow-up to the BMW Z4 which was the leader of the class, the Z4 sDrive35 will offer new thrills to roadster fans.

Featuring a 6-cylinder twin turbo engine which sports 335 hp and 450 Nm of torque (500 Nm with the use of the overboost) together with a a seven speed sport auto transmission, the BMW Z4 sDrive35is goes from 0 to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds, just like the M3 Coupe. Even if the performance has been increased, thanks to the BMW EfficientDynamics (Electric Power Steering, Brake Energy Regeneration to name a couple) the fuel consumption and emissions have remained unchanged.

For additional performance and looks, the BMW Z4sDrive35is also features the exclusive M Sports Package which includes a new aerodynamic kit, new M suspension and 18-inch wheels.

Having a price tag of $129,900, the BMW Z4 sDrive35is is the top of the line and is waiting for it’s owners to come and pick her up.

I have to say that I skipped this video, but at the same time, there were few people talking about it but now I saw it and I would like to share it with you and at the same time to say few words about it.

I want to say at the beginning that the video is cool but it could be much cooler if they would do as they usually make their videos, I mean in a very professional way, it would be better, I think that this video was made in a very short time so they didn’t have time for it.

Anyway, talking about what contains this trailer, it shows a bit of what BMW came at the Geneva Auto Show namely the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept, BMW X6 ActiveHybrid, BMW 1 Series Convertible, BMW M3 Convertible and there will also be some other surprises so if you read this blog, you will find what I’m talking about.

This 2012 BMW M5 really made me curious so I searched on many websites so that I can extract some information about this car. First I want to tell you that this 2012 BMW M5 will be based on the next generation of BMW namely the 2011 BMW M5 which is very detailed on this blog or on many other websites.

I heard that this 2012 BMW M5 is going to have two turbos, eight cylinders and it will be able to develop up to 578 horsepower and also a maximum torque of 530 lb-ft which is as high as I was expecting.

This car will reach 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 188 mph. you should know that this 2012 BMW M5 will probably not come with a wagon version and it will have the EfficientDynamic system on it so the emissions will be reduced by 30%.

BMW Z4 sDrive35iscan reach 10 kilometers per hour in just 4.8 seconds having a top speed (electronically limited) of 250 kilometers per hour being helped by the powerful engine that makes this BMW Z4 sDrive35is able to develop up to 306 horsepower which makes this little car to be very big “inside”.

I bet that this is not the first time when you hear about BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept but again we will talk about this and also about the main fact that I made this post, about the photos and the presentation of BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept from the LA Auto Show.

First, I have to tell you that the photos are not revealing so much things from BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept because on the internet there are a lot of photos with it from Auto Shows and now you can find anything about this car just by making a simple Google search or even a search on this blog.

As some main details about this new BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept, it has a consumption of just 3.73 liters for 100 kilometers and 99 grams of CO/2 of emissions which is more than great because at this little requirement of fuel, it develops a big amount of power.

This is the latest, and from my opinion the coolest concept of BMW: the Vision EfiicientDynamics. It is using a 1.5 liter engine with 3 cylinders wich develops 163 hp and produces 214 lb-ft of torque combined with 2 electric motors. The turbo diesel engine and one of the electric engines are located on the back side of the concept.

It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. The top speed is 250 km/h. The hybrid system makes this concept to consume only 3.6 liters at 100 kilometers. Here are some spy photos and there is also a HD video (part one and part two)  presenting this amazing concept.

I think this has something new comparing to the other concepts made by BMW and other brands, talking about the design. Those videos and many official pictures posted on the internet makes you understand how looks this concept and why I belive it’s special. It could be just those blue neons, it could be more. I think we’ll see soon this car into a Sci-Fi movie. Anyway, it’s an amazing concept.
