The Germans from BMW have stopped the production of BMW M3 Coupe for the upcoming generations. As you can see, the new F82 BMW M4 Coupe will be the successor of the E92 BMW M3 Coupe, actually it has another name with another hat, and the E92 BMW M3 is the last BMW M3 Coupe model ever produced.

Today we discuss some details about this beast, E92 BMW M3, which came back in the tuning garage from G-Power for technical and visual refresh.

We discussed further information in our previous article posted on December 12 regarding the tuning kit from G-Power (Please read it here: E92 BMW M3 Sporty Drive TU by G-Power). Now, this new tuning kit has been improved very much.

The engineers at G-Power have made one perfectly thing with this gem car and have changed the look from an usual M3 Coupe to a beast that carries a better design and performance engine under the hood.

The special tuning of E92 BMW M3 consists of aesthetic and technical changes, we will name some of the aesthetic changes: new front bumper, new difusser, and other carbon parts.

As technical parts, the tuning package from G-Power includes a new suspension that has been improved and lowered. Also, the E92 BMW M3 by G-Power comes with a new braking system.

G-Power has modified the E92 BMW M3’s V8 engine and has increased the power from 420hp to 720hp, also they increased the engine capacity to 4.6-liter. We believe that masters from G-Power have done a good thing and turned the car into a true beast.

This car is capable to reach the maximum top speed of 330km/h and has an acceleration of 3,7s (0-62mph).

G-Power E92 BMW M3 is one of the most beautiful cars tuned by the specialists at G-Power and this is seen even in pictures.

I’d be pretty annoyed by now. The E92 BMW M3 limited edition practice is getting pretty annoying regarding the way they keep coming about.

You’d imagine they’d had enough by now and that people had realized they’re not necessarily worth buying any more since their exclusivity fades away within months when a new one is created.

With this newest of limited BMW M3 editions that will very likely not be the case since it’s meant to celebrate the DTM victories of the Bavarian car maker in 2012.

Having returned to their home racing event, the German Touring Car Championship, better known as the DTM, the new M3 racer fared brilliantly.

As a newcomer, the M3 racer looked as though it had a mountain to climb. Making its journey more arduous, there were only six cars competing instead of eight as their rivals did.

The unfamiliar conditions were very problematic and yet nobody was deterred about the event. Bruno Sprengler won half the races in the championship.

This gave him the driver’s title, it gave his team, AC Schnitzer, another title and it gave BMW the constructor’s championship.

In celebration of the events, the home office promised a new version of the M3 which was to be built in order to celebrate the victory.

That car is now finally ready for a proper unveiling and comes with its own good looking gallery of pictures. The details have not changed, but there are some perks.

After paying the €99.000 asking price, you will get a chance to purchase racing training alongside the current DTM championship, Sprengler himself.

We spend quite a lot of time talking about new cars, new technology, facelifts and concepts around here. In fact, only this week we spoke a lot about spyshots of future models.

Maybe it’s time to take a second look at models that are currently available. Or maybe we should look at a few of the great ideas of the past.

Could we ever mix those two together? It seems that we can, especially considering what a certain owner of a custom E92 BMW M3 has to show us.

He’s done a bit of work on his. At the front end he fitted an IND Sport Evo splitter and he changed the shock absorbers were traded in for ones which change the stance of the car.

Maybe he wanted to make the car less drivable or maybe he really likes scraping speed bumps. Or maybe he wants to eliminate the gaps between the wheels and body to make for a cleaner look.

Inside this custom E92 BMW M3 we find that the seats were replaced by OEM fox red wrapped sportster CS ones and some very interesting details.

White trim covered in droplets of color can be seen spanning across the dashboard, the door panels and somewhere more concealed.

The engine bay also gets a similar appearance straight at the top of the powerplant. The headline here however is the exterior paint.

It’s Techno Violet, a stunning color BMW used to offer back in the 90s when the E36 was out and about and a color which I’d love to see make a comeback.

Ah yes, it’s looking as though the E92 BMW M3 still refuses to go away quietly. As we know that the next M3 will not be showing up until late next year, there’s still plenty of life left in this one.

In order to seem a little more important than usual, the 2013 version of the current M3, BMW will be introducing this version.

It’s a derivative of the already known Frozen paint models, except this time, it’s a custom shade of blue that stands out.

In fact, it’s actually the previous versions that spawned this one to come to life. American buyers weren’t very happy about having missed out on the limited edition.

Whereas other Frozen Paint BMW M3 models had a run of about 40 units, this time the Bavarians are more generous and offering 150 cars in this form.

Just in case you’re wanting for the previous options, the Red and White editions of the Frozen Paint will still be on the list of options.

The rest of that list is pretty short since you get an awful amount of equipment as standard. Highlights however are not for everybody.

Only the special editions get matte black 19” light alloy wheels, Electronic Damper Control, a 10 mm drop in the suspension and sportier settings for EDC and DSC.

Black Extended Novillo leather with contrast stitching sways the interior and high-gloss black accents cover the exterior.

Interestingly, it’s the manual transmission that’s offered as standard and the DCT is an option. There is some bad news though.

This version of the E92 M3 will cost at least $76.395 including destination and handling, so it’s about 16.000 more expensive than the regular version.

Take your kid to work day has nothing on what BMW’s Nurburgring facility does for family time. We have a video which will make you want to work there even more.

The star player here is Augusto Farfus, one of BMW’s DTM racing drivers and his sidekick is a E92 BMW M3 Coupe with obligatory racing livery.

Location was set at the infamous track affectionately known as the Green Hell and the victim was none other than Farfus’ wife.

Her name is Liri and if you’re having trouble pronouncing it, that might be because your brain is telling you what pitch of voice to expect.

Be warned, it might not be the most pleasing noise in the world and her contribution to the conversation is pretty repetitive as she asks for just one thing:

You dirty pervert you, all the girl wanted was to get her husband to slow down. After all, that’s what he’d promised from the beginning.

Obviously, the problem comes from the fact that they don’t really have the same sort of idea of what driving slow is. Her husband isn’t driving at full chat, but he is driving about 8/10s.

Even so, there’s a point where the M Division powered sedan hits 250 kph. Despite the obvious stress and risk of going these sorts of speeds, he still finds the time to argue.

The entire thing is meant to be for entertainment purposes, as part of some internet meme idea that’s to do with scaring your wife on the track.

Augusto did pretty good on that.

The next generation of the BMW M3 is almost here yet it seems so far away. Thankfully, the F80 BMW M3 is ready to treat us to something special.

Currently being tested around the Nurburgring test track, the F80 M3 sedan got recorded with some serious noise coming out of the quad exhausts at the back.

It’s not as loud as you’d normally imagine, which is to be expected given the turbocharger setup but it’ll certainly not need active sound technologies.

Also worth noting is the way the brake disks look. The unusual hue of those stoppers could be a sign into BMW using carbon ceramics.

Having delayed the sales of the carbon disks for the F10 BMW M5 the Bavarians may want to have the M3 ready with them upon launch.

Such abuse taking anchors may contribute to the time the F80 BMW M3 will set round the ‘Ring. Let’s remember that the E92 was quicker than the replaced Ferrari at the time of launch.

By that logic, the new BMW M3 will be quicker than the F430 which set a time of less than 7.55 minutes. That’s because alongside the brakes the engine is going up a few notches.

Even though it goes down to a 3.2 liter straight six, the turbocharger setup will provide 7% in terms of power and 18% in terms of torque.

Those of a boring considerate attitude will appreciate the 20% improvement in fuel economy levels.

Unfortunately we still have to wait for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show to actually get to see the unveiling of this newest BMW M3.

Yes, yes, we’re going to have a look at the F30 version of the BMW M3 pretty soon but before that happens, there’s going to be a new limited edition of the older generation.

As one of the last (hopefully) revivals of the E92 M3, this one is called the Lime rock Park Edition and it will be limited quite drastically.

Our favorite Bavarian brand will only build some 200 units of the E92 BMW M3 which will be painted Fire Orange and comes with a few aero tweaks.

The changes changes that make the Lime Park Edition what it is come fitted on top of BMW’s Competition package for the E92 M3.

They include an inconel-titanium exhaust muffler, carbon fiber front and rear aerodynamic spoilers and an updated rear wing.

Inside the new BMW M3 Lime Rock Park Edition we find a new steering wheel which comes with a racing like flat-bottom and re-trimmed seats.

The novelties are black and anthracite cloth seats are lined with Nappa leather. And then… well, that’s about all that changed.

All of these new updates come thanks to a collaboration between BMW and Skip Barber, owner of the infamous New England circuit.

Even though they’re pretty superficial changes, there are two key aspects of this limited edition worth noting.

Firstly, they’ll all be fitted with a six speed manual gearbox only and secondly, each of the custom units will cost some 70.995 USD.

This includes the fitting of the limited edition plaque and the deliveries should start some time in September.

So you fancy one of those new M Performance BMW M3 models the Bavarian car maker has only just announced? So you think you’re ready for some (more) “Frozen” paint?

Weirdly, so does BMW feel. That’s precisely why they’re shoving it down your throat with these final hurrahs of the E92 M3 and labeling them as special.

Sure, they have some extra kit and a different paint but other than bragging rights in the parking lot, can you really feel how special they are?

If my bashing doesn’t put you off, you might actually be interested in the kind of exclusivity you get with these particular models. That shows great courage and dedication.

It also shows that you have a bulging wallet and are a UK resident since that’s the only market where these final edition version of the E92 BMW M3 will be unveiled.

So, if you are British and have a special affection for Frozen Red, Frozen White or Frozen Blue paint and your account holds at least £74.080 (roughly 115.500 USD) then here’s what you need to know.

Only 30 cars are going to be made in each color, the Competition Package with 10 mm lowered suspension is available as standard as are the Electronic Damper Control with Sport mode and revised DSC+ system.

You also get 19 inch alloys, Dark Chrome exhaust, side gills and kidney surround. The mood changes for something more serious with the jet black bonnet intakes, carbon fiber splitter and the high-gloss Shadowline exterior trim.

The interior of the Frozen painted M Performance E92 BMW M3s is also improved with an Alcantara steering wheel, Black Novillo leather upholstery, Harman/Kardon digital radio with 13 speakers and a media package that makes your car a keyboard short of a personal computer.

I will admit it; I’m bored with the BMW M3. Mostly with the E92 coupe version and the way instead of bringing out the F30, we keep getting stuff like this.

Slated as one of the last versions of this generation’s M3 to ever be made (could it finally be the case?) it’s getting a limited run of 100 units, all of which are aimed at the UK market.

It is named the Frozen Silver, it delivers a rather bland look and it is actually here to symbolize something quite important to the Bavarian brand.

The E92 BMW M3 Frozen Silver is supposed to be part of the celebration of BMW M GmbH’s 40th anniversary.

Allegedly it offers potential buyers some extra optional equipment for free with the purchase of the car at a little over its standard pricing.

Those addons include the bespoke Frozen Silver metallic paint, dark chromed exhaust, side gills and kidney surrounds and something they call High-gloss Shadowline exterior trim.

The interior is a little more generous. We get Black Novillo and Palladium leather with contrasting stitching on the seats and armrests.

There’s also an Alcantara wrapped steering wheel, some carbon fiber trim and a plaque to showcase the limited edition factor.

Otherwise the car is completely standard in terms of performance and underpinnings. The final issue to discus is the pricing.

The E92 BMW M3 Frozen Silver costs £9.000 on top of the standard coupe and all that extra stuff we’ve talked about costs £4.000.

It’s not a bad deal but I’d feel a little disappointed to known my new performance car would be outdated almost immediately after delivery.

More and more the BMW fans are thinking of what the F30 M3 will bring to the table, where are the latest spyshots, when it will be unveiled and so on.

Meanwhile in a bit of a calmer side of the world, people are still proud of their E92 BMW M3, as they should be. They’ve even decided to help it along a bit.

Not with performance upgrades, not with body kits and not with interior modifications either. This prime white example gets new alloy wheels.

The new rollers come from Strasse Forged Wheels, painted in glossy black and features ten of the thinnest spokes ever in their design.

For once, we can see a set of wheels that’s very likable but not for size, style or whatever other detail you may want to focus on.

I really love the way the Strasse Forged Wheels showoff this E92 BMW M3’s vented cross drilled brake disks. There’s something mechanically beautiful about that.

Other than that, the E92 BMW M3, may be stock but it still has quite a lot to show off.

Its 4.0 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine produces 420 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, its gearbox is lightning quick and its chassis is simply brilliant.

Proof of this can be seen in all the tuning kits that showcase a lot more power and yet there are no problems with stability.

Much like older models of the BMW M3, the E92 will certainly live well in our hearts even after it gets replaced by the upcoming F30 version.
