While the F82 M4 remains the top notch from the entire 4-Series, build atop the latest technology in terms of performance and an exquisite body styling, some of the versions from the rest of the Series have been kinda left aside and didn’t get the best appreciation they deserved.

Recently, the guys from Smoking Tires have had the chance of driving a modified 435i model and decided to let us know what they thought about it. The video below just does that, and we can assure you that the remarks are quite positive, and not only because you are not looking here at a stock variant.

The entire models from the 4-Series are fun to drive and deliver the best experience in terms of driving capabilities, with or without any modifications carried out.

Even if the 435i looks and feels different with the aftermarket bits, we still consider that it is one of the best in its class. However, with the new modified parts, it becomes a second edition of the M4, tweaked with the latest mechanics and some heavy stuff under the bonnet.

Besides the stock suspension and brakes, this lad here comes with the Evolution Racewerks charge pupe, GIntani catless downpipe with Supersprint exhaust system as well as an AFE air intake. All these make the 435i extremely loud, a fact that can be also seen in the video below.

Besides that, the car looks out of the ordinary with the new exterior wrap, wider black wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero rubbers and a couple of other fine tweaks here and there. You can find out more about the car in the video released by Smoking Tires.

Ever since its unveiling on the market last year, the all-new Alfa Romeo Giulia has been a real nightmare to the BMW M3 Sedan, especially the top of the line Giulia QV.

Lots of reviews, official tests, drag races and videos have demonstrated already what the Giulia`s QV can do against the M3, and all that thanks to the car`s impressive power and torque.

Motor Trend auto magazine, which is well-known for its fair drive tests, has pulled over the M3 and decided to take an M3 with Competition Package for a change, and put it against the same Alfa Romeo Giulia QV, hoping that this time, the odds would be on the German`s side. The entire test was recorded on tape and can be seen below.

Initially, the test also comprised two other smashing cars, like the Mercedes-AMG C63 and the Cadillac ATS-V, but since our eyes were on the M3 and Giulia QV, we considered that these two deserved our best attention. The test carried out by the famous magazine highlighted the gorgeous driving capabilities that the M3 with the Competition Package is coming with, making the car extremely dynamic and fun to drive. The first thing you get to notice fresh at the M3 with the CP is the extra power juice and boost.

With the Competition Package, the BMW M3 Sedan feels more alive, getting to enjoy the same 3.0-liter inline straight-six engine, now developing 444 horsepower, and allowing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
Even so, it does not match the Giulia QV`s 2.9-liter twin-turbo engine with as close as 505 horsepower, with the same sprint done in rather the same figure as the M3 Competition Package. Both models come with automatic transmission, adding a rear-wheel drive layout.

However, on track, the M3 Competition Package seems to fall behind the Giulia QV with around 4 tenths, the model managing a lap run in 2:00.61, while the Giulia QV ran the same distance in 2:00.22. And in this business, each millisecond counts.

The slight difference counts when it comes to far more advanced aerodynamics in the QV in favor of superior technology on-board of the M3. So, with no further ado, even if Motor Trend chose the QV, it might remain a consolation for you to watch the video below. It`s well-worth it!

The more potent version of the standard BMW M4, the M4 GTS, was launched last year around the same period, with the model being seen in lots of reviews, smashing videos and tens of drive tests. Now a new drive test carried out by Drive.com.au is giving us the chance of reviewing most of the car`s impressive highlights.

Aussie magazine Drive.com.au has taken the BMW M4 GTS out for a spin on public roads near New South Wales, having the opportunity of testing out its driving capabilities and sheer performance under the hood. The model handles extremely well on public roads and tight corners, especially since it sits low to the ground, proving as well a comfortable ride with increase stability, all thanks to the adjustable suspension and lowering springs.

The power is also felt at a completely new level, as the BMW M4 GTS comes with brute force, thanks to 500 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque, allowing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. And the straight line is run with an amazing engine sound, also thanks to the titanium exhaust system.

Besides the sheer powertrain, the car`s impressive performance is also achieved thanks to the much more improved handling dynamics and updated steering, all complemented by a lightweight platform, tweaked with carbon fiber composites all around the body. Amongst the most important parts, we should mention the carbon fiber reinforced plastic on the bonnet, roof, front splitter, rear diffuser and extremely wide and adjustable rear wing.

As a reminder, the 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbocharged engine works closely with the car`s new water injection cooling system, first fitted underneath the M4 MotoGP, and which allows the M4 GTS increase the turbo boost pressure and thus generate more torque and power. All the power is channeled to the rear via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

In case you find yourself in a tough spot and don`t know what to choose between the gorgeous BMW M2 Coupe and the Porsche 718 Cayman S, then you definetely have got to see the video below with both model being reviewed by Piston Heads.

I know it`s a tough call, as both models come with exceptional design and advanced aerodynamics and mechanics, not to mention the powertrains under the hood. But even so, there are features that set them apart. We will try highlighting the most important ones and let the video do the rest.

Visually, both models are genuine athletes, coming with lightweight chassis which make them extremely fast and agile, and both use the latest techniques and mechanics.

In terms of performance, the BMW M2 Coupe uses a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine, with 365 horsepwoer and 343 lb-of torque, while the 718 Cayman S comes with a brand-new turbocharged flat-four engine, with 350 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque.

And even if the M2`s engine comes with higher power and torque, this does not necessarily means it is faster than the Cayman, especially since the latter come with the latest technology in terms of powertrain. It uses a mid-engine, is more lightweight and comes with better sprint.

And on the track, the Porsche 718 Cayman S has really demonstrated that it is faster than the M2 Coupe. It managed to run the whole track lap in 1:11.1, while the M2 Coupe was a little bit slower with 1:13:5.

As for prices, the BMW M2 Coupe is much cheaper than the 718 Cayman S, yet, according to its driver in the video, it is much fun to drive than the Porsche model. As for your personal opinion, is up to you to decide which one is the real winner. Enjoy the video!

A lot of auto online publications want a piece of the action behind the wheels of the new BMW M3, and Motor Trend is no exception as it also took the sports car out for some tests.

The journalists from Motor Trend also filmed the drive test, as they wanted to know how it felt driving such an amazing sports car.

We are talking here about some muscle being put on the M3 Sedan, as the model now sports a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder inline unit, which outputs a total of 431 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque.

The engine of the new BMW M3 is sending the power to the rear wheels, being hooked to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.

Interesting enough, the same 3.0-liter engine is also found on the BMW M4 Coupe, making the two sports car rather equal in terms of performance.

Talking about performance, the BMW M3 Sedan is able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1seconds, at the top speed of 250 km/h.
