MINI is currently displaying some of its recent models at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, while also announcing the arrival of its long-expected MINI Countryman ALL4 plug-in hybrid. On the other part of the world, in home country Germany, BMW`s main subsidiary has also presented an interesting JCW Accessories kit for some of its new models.

The JCW Accessories refer to a wide range of mechanics, styling features as well as a power kit, which significantly raises the power of the Cooper S.

From a visual standpoint, the all-new Cooper S three-door and five-door hatchback, as well as the S Convertible, have received a choice of 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels, adding sports brake system and valve exhaust silencer, the latter one providing “a distinctive acoustic background to this increase in temperament”, as the carmaker states.

An important upgrade has been also added to the Cooper S versions, the JCW power kit raising the power from 189 horsepower to 208 horsepower. Other features also refer to new body styling tweaks, side stripes, stickers, as well as the Track Fix mount for the GoPro cameras.

Last but not least, the MINI John Cooper Works model has also received the JCW Accessories, meaning new design lines, suspension system, as well as high-performance Brembo brakes. Unfortunately, there are no interesting news concerning the power boost, the JCW coming with the same 2.0-liter flat-four turbo engine, with 228 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque, enabling a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds, when hooked to a six-speed manual and 6.1 seconds with an automatic transmission.

Everybody is caught on camera these days, even if it is a BMW X1, or a BMW M2, which is now also the case of the upcoming MINI Cooper JCW, which was shot on some public roads out for some tests.

Spy photographers from Inautonews online publication have managed to spy the 2015 MINI Cooper JCW while undergoing some test, with the model wearing a light camouflage at the front end of the car.

The shots reveal a test mule of the new MINI Cooper JVW, but even if this would be the final product, we might be looking here at a fresh and restyled model.

Thus, the 2015 MINI Cooper JCW might be coming with some additional intakes at the front bumper, with the rear section resembling the new Cooper S, as well as with an updated breaking system.

The 2015 MINI Cooper JCW might be coming with some fine touches inside too, but it is under the hood where the real upgrades will be found.

We are talking about a new 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit, also seen in the Cooper S, and which will develop a higher 200 horsepower.

The unit of the JCW will be hooked to a six-speed manual or an optional automatic transmission, with paddle shifters, and power being sent to the front wheels.

The BMW`s Mini subsidiary is launching its new MINI generation in the UK with an already price list. The hatchback is ready to hit the British market with very competitive prices.

We are talking about the 2014 MINI One hatchback coming with 14,750 GBP and the Cooper S with a base 18,650 GBP.

The MINI vehicle is at its third generation now and it is already being launched in the UK with great prices.

The new model is already a hit worldwide, due to its great revolutionary design and increased size, as the model sports bigger dimensions like a longer 98 mm and a wider 44 mm, while the height receives an extra 7 mm.

Under the hood, the MINI also comes with a lineup, like a first 1.2-liter three-cylinder and 101 ponies, at the price of 13,750 GBP.

The next in keen, the 1.5-liter diesel, develops 95 horsepower, coming at 14,890 GBP. The Cooper and Cooper D will be purchased at 15,300 GBP and 16,450 GBP for their 1.5-liter engine, which develops 135 and respectively 115 ponies.

The top of all, the Mini Cooper S will come with a 2.0-liter engine and 190 horsepower. No prices are yet rendered for this model.

There are many recalls in the auto industry.

No matter how much you plan and hope that a project will be perfect, it rarely is. If a minor problem is detected, anyone can go with their car at the dealership and get it fixed for free. The 2007 Mini Cooper S was recalled on the base of a weird problem. While most cars get recalled for important or disturbing problems, the 2007 Mini Cooper S and even the 2008 version was recalled because of the length of the exhaust pipe, which sticks less than 1 inch out of the car. You can see a picture below.

The reason: people who pass the Mini when it is parked can get burned.
