iND Distribution tuner based in California is one of the most famous in the branch, with the last 10 years of its activity to be oriented towards the making of standout BMW models. As a result, the technicians decided to build a special BMW M4 that would mark the special event.

The model was built some while ago, the new BMW M4 being displayed in different parts of the country, riding alongside a Porsche GT3 RS racing car, both models being highly appreciated and valued for what they represent.

As we can depict from the photo gallery, the BMW M4 is standing out from the crowd with the superb Ultraviolet exterior wrap, adding the plethora of iND parts, which make it extremely aggressive.

The tuner`s aero kit is built entirely out of carbon fiber parts, with the most highlights on the carbon fiber bumpers, side skirts, custom rear wing with an M4 GTS feel, carbon fiber Kevlar reinforced front splitter, the latter one providing the model with a racing look.

iND has also had a fruitful collaboration with BBS tuner, which provided the best wheels for this custom-made BMW M4. We are looking here at BBS FI-R 19-inch alloy wheels, with a choice of a 20-inch size as well.

The wheels are custom-built for the BMW M4 and adds the new Brembo GT Brakes, which increase the car`s personality and aggressive stance.

As far as the engine goes, there weren`t any mods carried out, the M4 packing a 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo flat-six inline engines, with 430 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque.

Hooked to a six-speed manual transmission, the BMW M4 is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, but equipped with the seven-speed M Dual-Clutch transmission, the model runs the same straight-line in an impressive 4.1 seconds. The topping is electronically limited at 250 km/h.

Here’s another BMW hybrid and fuel efficiency collaboration announcement. This time it’s one of the negative kind.

BMW has cut off any collaboration with General Motors they had on the matter of fuel cell technology development. Apparently this business will also be shared with Toyota.

The announcement comes in just days after the agreement with the Japanese company was made public and is of no real surprise to anybody.

Don’t think however that the two companies have shut off communications altogether as one of the BMW spokespersons, Alexander Bilgeri, the two companies are still taking.

There was no mention as to what they will still be talking about but GM’s reaction to the question was rather different.

The European arm of General Motors, represented by Marc Kempe, said that they’ve got plenty of attempts at the fuel cell with other companies on the old continent.

As for BMW he simply said there’s just nothing to talk about. That seems like there’s no other chat going on.

Further explaining there’s no such thing as a chance at collaboration between BMW and GM, the Bavarians have announced another cut off.

Ever since GM and the French at PSA have been in talks with some investments and the Americans purchased a stake in the company things have changed.

BMW is reportedly looking into cutting back on the eco-saving technology collaboration they now have with Peugeot-Citroen as a result of that purchase.

We’ve almost certainly not heard the last of these discussions. As for the fuel cell technology, it seems to be one that’s permanently on hold.
