BMW has been testing out the future X7 for quite some time, with the model quickly loosing its heavy camouflage and revealing the gorgeous production design language.

New spy photos come from carscoops auto magazine and highlight the X7 in a new series of tests, this time the test mule wearing less camo, which means that it is close to its final guise.

Presuming debuting at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show, this November, the all-new 2019 BMW X7 will become the carmaker`s most impressive SUV, way too impressive than the current X6. It will retain however the company`s familiar design.

This means that it will come the awesome front fascia and incredibly massive twin-kidney grille, making it extremely imposing. BMW will also build the model with the M Sport package, as the below test mule is wearing in the tests. With the M Sport pack, the new X7 will adopt a sportier attitude, thanks to the aggressive front and rear bumpers.

Around the back, the X7 will borrow some styling cues from the X7 iPerformance concept previewed a couple of weeks ago. We should thus expect a revised roof rack and traditional side mirrors and door handles. The concept`s vertical rear vents will also be present at the rear end and will come handy with the slender taillights and tailgate-mounted spoiler. There will also be chrome dual-exhaust tips for improved engine growl and more aggressive looks.

Built in Spartanburg, South California, the 2019 BMW X7 SUV will come with an array of engines. Recent reports detail at least a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six cylinder engine with around 335 horsepower, while the higher 4.4-liter V8 with the same TwinPower Turbo technology would make it even more powerful – 445 HP.

BMW is likely to offer the new X7 with a plug-in hybrid variant as well, while an M Performance model or an X7 M might also be in the works. Stay tuned for more details in the upcoming period!

BMW has a pretty full agenda for the 2017, the carmaker preparing lots of new models for the future up-ahead. One particular test mule that caught our attention with its magnificent design is the upcoming 2018 6-Series GT, recently revealed in a spy video while performing some snowy tests.

Set to be revealed at the 2017 Frankfurt Auto Show, the all-new 2018 BMW 6-Series GT is a serious contender for the likes from Mercedes-Benz and Audi, coming out as the official replacement of the already gone 5-Series GT.

In the new form, the 2018 6-Series Grand Tourismo is going to be top notch, with a hotter design and some mighty powertrains under the hood. Not to forget the new list of gadgetries inside, with borrowings from the new 5-Series and 7-Series.

The test mule seen here brings about new styling bits, like a more sweeping roofline, more refined front and rear bumpers, hatchback-like trunk, while retaining the same split-opening hatch at the back. Also, the stretched rear end announces increase storage space.

With a longer wheelbase as well, the new 6-Series GT will be better looking and more elegant than the 5-Series GT, adding as well increase space inside for passengers and luggage. As for the engine lineup, BMW has announced an interesting suite of petrol burners as diesels.

We should be able to see the petrol variants with lots of power and torque, customers being able to choose between the 630i, 649i or the top of the line M650i xDrive. Also, the carmaker will later add the BMW G30 M550i xDrive with a 4.4-liter twin turbocharged V8 mill with plenty of juice. As expected, a oplug-in hybrid iPerformance will also be introduced as well.

On the diesels side, the carmaker will introduce the new BMW 620d, 630d as well as a top of the line M650d xDrive, the latter one packing the brand new B57 quad-turbo pot. Following a batch of spy photos with the upcoming BMW Z5 while performing snowy testing at the Arctic Circle, the official successor of the Z4 is popping-up into the spotlights again in a new set of photos, which depict the test mule wearing less camo, and revealing its rear exhaust system with new tips.

The model is thus getting ready for an official debut at the end of the year, standing side-by-side its sibling Supra sedan, from Toyota. Both will be built in Graz, Austria.

Compared to the last year`s first spy photos which depicted the future Z5 wearing circular exhaust tips, this test mule is wearing now more angular exhaust tips and a new rear bumper layout. And even if the model is still under serious testing, this seems to be the car`s final shape before entering the production line.

This means that the all-new BMW Z5 is also going to come with the headlights and taillights presently found on the test mule, along with the extra panels with the black rivets. Also, the trunk lid is likely to preserve the present shape, while the spoiler lip will make the styling more prominent.

More than that, unlike the BMW Z4 which used a hardtop, the future Z5 will be using a soft top with a fabric setup, which will shed off important weight and add more space into the car`s trunk.

In the engine department, as you already probably know, the upcoming BMW Z5 would be equipped with a wide range of four- and six-cylinder engines, shortly followed by a hybrid powertrain with an all-wheel drive setup. As for a much more potent M variant, this possibility is just a dream for the moment.

The all-new BMW X7 is back into the spotlights, the model being recently caught while undergoing road test in full camouflage.

Set to arrive in 2018 as a 2019 MY, the Fresh X7 will be the company`s largest X model, and will tackle the likes of Bentley Bentayga, Mercedes-Benz GLS or the new Range Rover from Land Rover company.

As we can depict from the spy photos released below, the new 2019 BMW X7 is going to be bulk and extremely aggressive in design, coming with lots of styling improvements that will separate it from the rest of X range.

This means that the new X7 will arrive with massive double kidney grilles, adding huge rear doors and other elements that will differentiate it from the new comer X5.

As expected and following other high-end models from BMW, the 2019 BMW X7 will also stand on the company`s new CLAR platform, which sets the standard when using the latest lightweight materials. This will allow for wide space inside and an impressive engine lineup under the hood.

Inside, the cabin will feature the same-high-end feel highlighted by high-quality materials. However, the cabin`s main feature will be the semi-autonomous technology, also found on the all-new 2017 BMW 5-Series or last year`s BMW 7-Series.

The CLAR platform and long wheelbase will allow customers to choose between different seat-configuration: the model is set to come with a four-seat, five-seat and seven-seat configuration, depending on the customer`s own tastes.

As for the engine lineup, the all-new 2019 BMW X7 SUV will share the 5-Series` lineup of petrol burners and diesels with six- and eight-cylinder configuration. Just like its smaller brothers, the X7 will also come in the shape of a plug-in hybrid version, shortly followed by a much more potent X7 M, which will directly compete against the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63.

The all-new 2018 BMW X2 is popping up into the spotlights again in new spy photos, while undergoing some heavy tests out in the cold Sweden. The model is still wearing heavy camouflage, which indicates that it is far from being finished soon.

We already know the general details concerning the arrival of the new model. First of all, it will come with a lot of influences from the X2 Concept, but will add its own styling bits, which will make it extremely attractive and appealing.

Second, it will also stand on the same lightweight platform also underpinning the X1, meaning that will allow the use of lightweight materials. This also translates into more space inside and plenty of engines under the hood.

The exterior will look extremely evolutionary and high-end, highlighted by the a wider intake on the lower front fascia, adding more muscular lines, sloping roofline which announces a more rounder rear, wider taillights and bigger wheels.

Inside, the all-new 2018 BMW X2 will boast with the latest technology also available on the new 2017 5-Series or 2016 7-Series, including the latest infotainment system with gesture control, or the already-famous semi-autonomous system.

As for the engine lineup, this will comprise a wide range of powertrains, with different configurations in Europe and the United States. On the Old Continent for instance, the all-new BMW X2 will feature three- and four-cylinder petrol burners and diesels, while overseas, the SUV will be available only in petrol configurations.

As expected and already announced, a plug-in hybrid version is also in the cards, presuming followed by a more potent M versions. Prices and full details will be launched prior to the car`s debut in half 2017.

Following the official release of the all-new 2017 BMW 5-Series Sedan about a month ago, the German based carmaker has already sent the Touring variant for a new round of tests, the test mule being caught on shots as well, wearing less camouflage around the rear end.

It has been already set that the new 5-Series Touring will come with an improved styling at the front and now we have the confirmation that the new model will also get new taillights and some new visuals at the rear.

As for the interior and high-tech gizmos, the 2017 BMW 5-Series Touring will borrow the latest technology from the Sedan sibling, meaning semi-autonomous driving, up-to-date safety features and improved high-end materials which will add a more cozy feel.

As expected, in the engine department, the new Touring is likely to come with the same powertrains as the 5-Series Sedan, including the 530e`s new plug-in hybrid. This means a 2.0-liter engine hooked to an electric motor and delivering a total of 250 horsepower.

The most powerful engine is also said to remain the same 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine from the top of the line M550i xDrive, with an impressive 455 horsepower and a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h delivered in just 4.0 seconds. All engines will also get an all-wheel drive layout and a standard eight-speed automatic.

The details list is rather scarce at the moment, but we should expect fresh news next year in January, when the model is rumored to be unveiled at the 2017 NAIAS Motor Show, in Detroit.

While BMW and MINI are busy planning and testing out their latest hot rides which will arrive in the market in new forms, including a wide range of plug-in hybrids and all-electric vehicles by 2021, the Group`s luxury subsidiary Rolls-Royce is also bringing some important updates to its high-end models.

One of these models to be released in the near future – in 2017 to be exact as a 2018 MY – is the all-new Rolls-Royce Phantom, the model being recently caught on shots while undergoing tests outside its plant.

Thanks to motor1 via CarPix, we also have the first batch of spy photos with the 2018 Phantom, the test mule seen here wearing full camouflage around the body, which indicates significant changes in terms of styling. The interior will also receive updates.

As we can depict from the photos, the new model will stand taller and will be more imposing, as it will ride on an all-aluminum architecture, meaning that it will shed off significant weight to make room for a wide array of engines and increase the space inside.

Thanks to the new aluminum structure, the company will actually release two versions – a short wheelbase, which is actually the one seen here, as well as a long wheelbase, offering increase space inside the cabin.

On terms of styling, the 2018 Phantom in both its forms, will come with a more imposing yet aggressive body styling, highlighted by a wider front grille flanked by new headlights, with other bits as well borrowed from the previous generation Phantom VII. Also, the taillights will be updates, while the C-pillar will be reshaped to best fit the now more sloped roofline. Overall, we are looking here at an extremely evolutionary design.

Inside, the cabin will also receive some important modifications, and judging by the interior photos below, we might be looking here at a dual screen, updated digital instrument cluster and a lot more. As far as the engine lineup goes, there are not any fresh details concerning any changes, the new Phantom reportedly carrying over the same mills from the current model.

If you are ever tired of an M model – is unlikely in most of the cases – then you can always choose a hardcore version from Alpina, which is BMW`s special division qualified to release special versions.

In this case, BMW M5`s alternative would be the future 2018 Alpina B5, the prototype being caught on new tests at the Ring, wearing less camouflage around the body, which is also a clear indication that the test mule is getting closer to the production model.

The Alpina B5 is based on the recently unveiled G30 5 Series from BMW, the model coming with new body styling elements, like updated front spoiler, rear bumper, or modified exhaust system with quad pipes which indicates a power boost under the hood. The overall design will be complemented with the much wider multi-spoke alloy wheels.

Speaking about performance under the hood, the 2018 Alpina B5 will be a real beast, the hardcore model getting the same 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, also found underneath the new B7, with massive 600 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. These figures will also bring it closer to the same B7. The new B5 will come with an eight-speed automatic gearbox with the company`s Switchtronic shift buttons on the steering.

For the moment, the full details are rather limited, but we should be able to find out more at the beginning of 2017, prior to the car`s official unveiling in second half of the same year. The B5 will debut along the all-new M5 and 5-Series GT.

The BMW M3 and M4 have been around for almost three years and now the models are just about ready to receive a new facelift which will differentiate them from the current ones.

All the attention is around the facelifted BMW M4 Coupe, the test mule being recently caught on new spy photos while undergoing tests with camouflage around the front and rear end. This would be the second time seeing it on testing, while last week, a red LCI was also seen performing on the road.

We are dealing here with the so called BMW M4 LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) which means that the model is just about to receive some slight updates, at the exterior and cabin.

As we can depict from the spy photos, the BMW M4 LCI might arrive fresh with OLED configuration, also seen on the BMW M4 GTS, along with new taillights and a handful of mods at the front, adding some M Performance Parts at the rear end. The rather new design would be complemented with the new 19- and 20-inch front and rear alloy wheels.

The updated model will also shed off around 80 kilos, thanks to the newly added carbon fiber components at the rear end and front bumpers. This will make it higher-performance than the previous model.

In terms of performance, the BMW M4 LCI will come with the same 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine but with an improved performance of around 500 horsepower, which will make it closer to its hardcore version M4 GTS.

The all-new facelift BMW M4 is likely to be unveiled next year at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show or even earlier at the 2017 NAIAS, in Detroit, in January, along with the all-new BMW 5-Series Sedan. However, we should expect official details and pricing towards the end of the year. After all, we are looking here at the most anticipated model from BMW!

I personally don’t like how the present models have evolved, becoming bigger and bigger up to a point you won`t get to recognize their iconic and traditional design, slowly but surely being transformed in sub-compact SUVs.

But perhaps this is the new philosophy that MINI is embracing, following BMW`s recent trend, with big cars becoming bigger, and bigger cars becoming the biggest.

As we can depict from the spy photos, the all-new Countryman is almost ready to be unveiled at the 2016 Paris Motor Show and the real proof is the less and less camouflage it wears around the body. Details with the model are already known.

Once it will be ready for mass production, it will ride on the company`s new UKL1 modular platform, the same one found on the Clubman or the new X1, meaning lightweight materials like aluminum and carbon fiber reinforced plastic, along with plenty of space inside.

The new platform will also allow the fitting of a wide array of engines, one of them being the latest three- and four-cylinder engines, the same one fitting the JCW, with power reaching 228 horsepower.

The best part is yet to come, as the MINI Countryman will also spawn a hybrid version, being equipped with a 15-liter three-cylinder petrol burner hooked to an electric motor, the latter one adding 88 horsepower and 165 Nm of torque to the engine`s 136 horsepower and 219 Nm of torque.

This would allow the Mini Countryman sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds, at a topping og 250 km/h. the electric range would also be estimated at 34 kg. More details will be found out at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, where it will be unveiled alongside the future JCW.
