BMW has redesigned the X1 compact crossover and this latest version’s prototype has a battery-electric version.

Last summer, the CEO of BMW confirmed the plan for an electric X1 and an electric 5-series. The electric X1 would be called the iX1, he stated.

The redesigned X1 is based on the latest front-wheel-drive architecture from BMW, which is known as FAAR. The FAAR platform is a renewed version of the UKL platform that supports the current X1.

The biggest change is the option for a battery-electric powertrain.

The spy photos don’t reveal much and we can’t see the bumper’s design due to the camouflage garb. The bumper will likely be the same as the old one.

BMW didn’t disclose any details regarding the power under the hood, but we expect that the powertrain on the base variant will be teamed up with a single electric motor. A more potent option with two motors forming an all-wheel-drive system will also be offered. The expected range of the battery-electric model will be at least 250 miles for all variants.

The Mini Cooper SE, the aforementioned iX1, and the new i4 are being launched by the BMW Group for the 2022 model year. The refreshed version of the BMW X1 is expected to go sale in 2022 as a 2023 model with the iX1 arriving at the same time.

The next generation of BMW vehicles is due and the German manufacturer is hard at work testing the prototypes. This allows us to catch the camouflaged vehicles in their raw form. The 2023 BMW M2 has recently been caught during its test run.

The M2 is expected to get a complete redesign after many years. All the new BMW design cues are present, including the quad exhausts, flared wheel arches, and the sporty side mirrors. The new kidney-grille design will also make its way onto the M2. The idea is to make the smaller models stand out. BMW has already wooed the market with the M3 and M4 designs so the M2 will not fall short of expectations.

The BMW M2 will be based on the CLAR platform which it shares with the Z4.

The 2023 BMW M2 is expected to get an underpowered version of the 3-0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-6 engine. The powertrain will probably produce around 420 hp, which is an increase of 55 hp.

The 2-series will come out as a 2022 model, which means the M2 version will come out a year later as the 2023 model. The pricing bracket will get a boost thanks to the inclusion of the new engine but there should not be a huge difference.

The BMW 8-Series Gran Coupe has been caught during testing with heavy camo-prints on the front and back. The 8-Series came out back in 2019 as a coupe and a year later the gran coupe was launched for the more practical buyers.

The new vehicle will fit in as a mid-cycle facelift for the 8-series and it will most likely come out next year as a 2023 model. BMW is known to test their vehicles well before the release date so something like this is not uncommon.  

From the photos, it is clear that the upcoming car will have a heavily modified front-end. Facelifts are usually subtle but it seems BMW has something else in mind. Similarly, the rear is hidden from plain view, meaning the changes are not limited to the front fascia.

The insides of the prototype were also spotted but most of the center console and dash were covered. BMW might be working on a fresh new infotainment screen design. The current setup consists of a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, which might be upgraded.

The German company is also unveiling the new iDrive interface on March 15^th so details about the revamped infotainments system will be revealed soon.

The 2023 BMW 8-series Gran Coupe might have the same drivetrain lineup or the brand could go with something different. It is unclear which route they take. If BMW stays with the current setup we could see the 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 that produces 335 hp, the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8, or the i=high-performance version of the same engine, making 600 hp.

BMW will probably add a hybrid or a PHEV variant to the mix to make their models future-proof. The Alpina tuned 8-Series gran coupe is also coming soon so there are few exciting months ahead.

The BMW 8 Series Coupe is the crown jewel in the German brand’s vehicle lineup. The vehicle exudes luxury and class like no other, but having said that, BMW believes in making something that is great even better.

The 8 Series is getting a new makeover and it has been spotted during testing with a camouflaged front fascia. The sporty coupe was spotted on the public roads somewhere in Germany. From the pictures, it is evident that the car will have a tweaked grille and bumper. The headlights might get a slight brush-up but we can’t say for sure until further pictures are released.

The Coupe’s cousin the Gran Coupe was spotted a few days earlier and it had a similar camo covering its front-end. However, the coupe’s entire bumper is covered whereas the GC version had a slight opening in the middle to allow the adaptive cruise control sensor to work.

The rear-end of the two vehicles is also similarly covered with camo. The rear bumper looks to be slightly different from last year’s model and the taillights give off a different vibe.

The news regarding the powertrain is still a bit scarce. The new model is expected to run the same roster of engines as before with some minor changes to the output. The 8 Series Coupe is sportier, meaning BMW might add a few horses to the mix but European emission standards might not allow that to happen.

The BMW 8 Series Coupe facelift will come out early next year as the 2022 model.

The German Automotive giant has always had a strong standing in the automotive world, garnering respect and fame through its amazing products and outperforming vehicles. However, the last few months have not been very positive for the brand.

BMW has been taking strong criticism from fans and critics alike on their confusing approach to the design language. The sporty and futuristic architecture of some of the recently released BMW vehicles has perplexed many. The company has shown indecisiveness concerning the size of the kidney-grille. They first stated that the upcoming 4 series vehicles will sport the large kidney-grille, but later they decide against it. Not long after, BMW said that it wouldn’t mind if people changed the front-end look with aftermarket options. However, now they state that it is hard to please everyone in terms of design.

The manufacturer wants its vehicles to stand out and make an impact on the car community. It wants the future BMWs to be distinguishable from the lot.

The BMW design boss Domagoj Dukec said, “If you want to create something that stands out, it must be distinguished and it has to be different,”.  He further stated, “If you want to reach some customers, you have to stand out. It’s not our goal to please everyone in the world, but you have to please your customers.”  

BMW is not concerned with pleasing anyone and they are pretty confident in their future plans. The marque is hopeful that the upcoming vehicles will impress the right people, who are always happy with the success of the company. The criticism is likely a cause of BMW’s previous triumphs.

“There is some friction when your old product is so successful, and that’s what we’re seeing,” said Van Hooydonk Senior Vice President of Design. “If your market success isn’t there, then you have to change. That’s a very stressful situation as a company.”

It is not unusual for large-sized SUVs to be converted into armored vehicles. They are used by businessmen, presidents, and all kinds of powerful individuals for a very good reason. Simply put, an SUV is a complete package, with immense power, size, and practicality that define its presence. Such features are difficult to find in any other vehicle, and INKAS thinks the same.

The Canadian Armor company regularly fortifies Land Cruisers and Cadillac Escalades, the type of SUVs that influential people usually love and favor. INKAS does all that and more, which is a testament to their wide range of operations. The BMW X7 is their latest project – a vehicle that deserves nothing but the best-armored treatment.

The large SUV has a CEN BR6 armor rating, and even though a ton of armor has gone into the SUV’s body, INKAS had made the conversion work without sacrificing the ride quality and passenger comfort. The body panels and doors are fitted with a bulletproof Kevlar material to maximize protection, while the cargo space has been cut down to make way for a large shield. The tires are understandably puncture-proof.

The armor doesn’t affect the luxury aspect of the premium BMW X7 SUV, as the INKAS X7 has the same tinge of leisure as any regular X7. You can’t feel the difference, thanks to the upgraded suspension setup. If all that is not enough, you can choose the amount of armor you’d like in your vehicle. Therefore, a lightweight model is an option, while a fully-loaded variant is also available. The top variant is armed to the teeth with better tires, heavy-duty brakes, emergency lights, sirens, intercom system, and more.

If you want a piece of this remarkable SUV, INKAS builds the armored X7 on demand. Therefore, we can’t put a price tag on the BMW SUV, but expect it to be very expensive.

The BMW i4 is under its testing phase, which means a lot of spy shots have been circulating the internet trying to make sense of the upcoming design. The latest photos have revealed a lot more than before, including details of the front-grille design.

The front-end is partially visible, and although it is still covered by camouflage material, a lot more can be said about the grille’s shape and size. The BMW i4 will have the same signature kidney-grille as before with practically the same size as in the earlier models.

The headlights are also clearly visible for the first time revealing a c-shaped design. The LED daytime lights and the two projector-beam combo has been the go-to for BMW in the recent past and the i4 follows the same pattern.

Unsurprisingly, the rear of the vehicle also shows more than it did earlier. The taillights, for example, can be seen more clearly and we can decipher their near-final shape. Since the camouflage panels have started coming off, we can say for sure that the BMW i4’s release is not that far away.

The prototype vehicle is in its final stages of testing and once that is complete, BMW will reveal the I4 in its final form. It is expected to be released by late 2021 so expect a full unveiling by the Spring/Summer of 2021.

The BMW i4 is touted to be more powerful than some of BMW’s performance cars like the M3 and M4. The i4 will produce 530 hp at its peak, which will allow it to go from 0 to 60 mph in a brisk 4 seconds or less. The whopping performance figures are possible thanks to the single motor setup and BMW’s intuitive drag-reduction aerodynamic technology.

BMW has been tight-lipped on the price of the i4, but expect it to be around $70,000 for the base variant.

Just like the X7, the new-born star from BMW, the X8, will definitely have an M division that would somehow refresh the hardcore segment. And that is because the X8 was seen in numerous spy shots while performing hard tests on the track.

And judging by the way it will look and feel, the X8 M will be a real badass. The recent rendering shows a glimpse of how it might come out towards the end of 2022. Yes, M lovers will have to wait that long, as the regular X8 will only see the sun at the end of 2021.

With the G09 BMW X8 on the track, spy shots revealed an extremely radical-looking SUV, with rough edges at the exterior and advanced technology inside. And that sparked the imagination of rendering artists who pictured the upcoming X8 M as an outrageously looking spaceship with all sorts of weaponry on board.

So, the latest rendering photo reveals the BMW X8 M with an insane and massive body. However, some parts look smaller than the ones from the X7 M. One of them is the kidney grille, which is visibly smaller. The slicker headlights complete the front design and provide a rigid yet imposing feel and attitude. Another striking element is the new M bumper with two large air curtains, while the hood provides a sporty feel, exactly the one found on the M3 or M4 in their latest editions.

As expected, the interior will also be refreshed with M trims and elements, which will differentiate it from the current X7 M. This means full leather upholsteries, new materials, updated digital screens, and much more. Rumors have it, that the X8 M might also gain the OS interface, also found on the X7 M.

The high-end model from the M division will also stand on a new platform and not the same used on the current X7M. This means it will be built from the ground and will allegedly come with a new engine and power.

Speaking of motorizations, reports state the presence of two variants. A base one, with power standing at 617 HP, and a top of the line version with a hybrid powertrain. This might become the first electrified M model in the history of the Bavarian manufacturer. The latter one is part of what we know so far as the “Project Rockstar,” which will give the start of a new electrification era in the M`s agenda. The topper variant of the X8 M will use the same 4.4-liter twin-turbo engine, however, it will work in tandem with an electric motor, for a combined power of 750HP. And if this rumor is confirmed, we will be dealing with the most powerful hybrid car BMW has ever created.

The new architecture has led to a visual revolution and has produced many new design themes. Maybe it will polarise, but it will definitely stand out.”

From a visual perspective, the BMW Motorrad Definition CE 04 breaks the conventional boundaries and adopts a whole new design language. We are dealing here with an elongated body that is closer to the ground than any other conventional scooters. The high-class feel is also given by the sharp edges around the surface, with a front end that rises diagonally and which creates a more muscular attitude. Underbody, the battery is flat, allowing for more storage that can be opened from the side. This means easier access to the drivers helmet or other light equipment. The battery`s size also makes the scooter more stability, enabling increased handling and driving dynamics.

However, there is more than meets the eye; besides the exquisite design, the 2020 BMW Motorrad Definition CE 04 also offers a lot of connectivity features, thus focusing on user-friendly and practical solutions for the driver. All this offers the perfect balance between comfort, safety, and the thrill of driving. Once you turn on the key, your smartphone is directly connected to the bike`s 10.25-inch display which allows you to perform different actions. This is the largest display ever built in this segment and which perfectly defines the link between analogue and digital. Speaking of performing different actions.
