AC Schnitzer has made a couple of modifications for 2009 BMW 7 Series. This AC Schnitzer body kit for the new BMW 7 Series gives a sportier look. The kit includes new side skirts, a new front lip and AC Schnitzer tailpipes. About the tailpipes we can say that they consist in two exhaust channel. Also, about the new front lip we can say that it’s the first thing which has been changed on 2009 BMW 7 Series’s body kit.

In my opinion, AC Schnitzer has made a great work for this package. I know that some people don’t like this body kit but I can say that over half of BMW fans like it. 2009 BMW 7 Series looks beautiful with this body kit!

AC Schnitzer also added 2 models of alloy wheels. The first one is a set of Type V 22-inch alloy wheels and the second one is a set of 22-inch alloy wheels with multispoke design. Both look good on 2009 BMW 7 Series with AC Schnitzer’s body kit.

An official Press Release announced that the sales of BMW and Mini combined are with 15.5% lower that the same month last year. They sold about 14,500 vehicles this year, compared with over 17,000 they managed to sell last year.

Jim O’Donnell, President of BMW of North America, announced that everyone is trying to find viable solutions for this problem, but that they are positive about the Certified Pre-Owned program and the appearance of the new 7 Series and Z4, sometimes this spring.

He also said that considering the crisis we all have to deal with, he is not that surprised about the lack of interest in purchasing a vehicle. The showroom traffic is down, but apparently the internet website and vehicle configuration have more visitors that last year.

Even with this low percentage, the BMW Company is still ahead of overall market momentum.

Norbert Reithofer, the CEO of BMW, confirms: there will be a plan for a BMW crossover in 2012. I received the news from the people at BMWBlog. This new BMW concept will be based on the new 3-series, which will only appear in 2012. There are many new concepts which are uncertain and this crossover was one of them. Now, we have official confirmation that this project will happen. 

The project will be similar to the Progressive Activity Sedan and its codename is V3. This is all the information so far and there a long road needs to be traveled before we see the actual results. Fortunately, there will be many other new BMW which will appear until 2012 and no one can say that they will get bored.
