With the recent spy shots of the 2016 BMW 7-Series, which would set off somewhere next year, BMW is reported to be secretly working on the top of the line M7, which would stand out from the crowd with unique styling elements and greater performance under the hood.

According to a report from Autobild, the BMW 3-Series M7 might come with a more aggressive body style, with new body parts, such as side skirts, rear diffuser, or the exhaust system also found on the present M5 and M6 Gran Coupe.

Under the hood, the upcoming M7 would sport the same engine from the BMW M5, but is also reported to come with some power upgrades. Thus, we might be dealing here with a tuned up 4.4-liter V8 twin turbo petrol unit, said to output more than 600 horsepower, hooked to a double-clutch transmission.

The 2016 BMW 7-Series M7 would be launched next year and would be a heavy response to its direct competitors, the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG as well as the new Audi S8. Prices are also reported to stand at around 140,000 euros. The performance list is rather scarce at the moment, but we should find out more details in the upcoming period! BMW’s division M never got around to doing an M version of the 7-Series, although they played with the idea. The BMW 7-Series was never meant to be a mad beast eating the road. The luxury sedan makes more sense staying as it is.

Of course, for those that just must have it all, there is a M Sport pack to spice things up, but it’s just not the same.

And since no official BMW M7 was announced or even hinted at, the artists from Auto Projecoes decided to put out there a rendering of their idea of one.

I think it looks pretty cool. The designers also said that their version of the BMW M7 would sport the engine found in the 760Li, a 6.0 liter V12.

Their rendering seem to hit all the features that are know for the M versions of the BMWs: the lowered suspension, the wheels and front bumpers, the carbon fiber rooftop or the side skirts.

So, I would say it looks sharp and Auto Projecoes did a good job. What would you say?

In an interview with big employees of BMW it was confirmed that the 7 Series is about to come with a M sport package. Most people are not waiting any power upgrades from the new BMW 7 Series with M sport package. There are about to be some upgrades for tires and wheels but nothing on the engine.

On the new BMW M7  will be available 19″ ultra-high performance tires and for aditional costs, 20″ ultra-high performance tires. There is another ugrade for BMW M7 namely a Carbon Black Metallic on the new BMW 7 Series with M sport package. The M sport package upgrades will be available on 7 Series in 2009-2010.

My point is that it’s not worth to buy a BMW 7 Series with M sport package instead of the normal model because there are not any high upgrades as you can see. Anyway, that new paint and those ultra high tires are very good and if coreesponds to your budget, maybe this is a good choice.

Some images on the internet already appeared with BMW 7 Series M Sport Package, but BMW has not announced anything officially about this package. Might as Bavarian company to think in a future version of BMW M7, because Mercedes S65 AMG dominates.

Also, this M Sport Package on the new BMW 7 Series have aggresive front and rear bumpers. In the interior you can see some new improved elements: BMW M Sport integrated wheel, sport seats and some elements of aluminum like as central console and the trim.

There are rumors that BMW 7 Series M Sport Package will be available for market at the end of this year and the price of this package will be somewhere at $US10, 000 … Remains to wait and see what bavarians say about this package and hang with my eyes closed as he might be a surprise: the new BMW M7.

Currently, the head of the top 7 series is the BMW 760Li (Long version) / 760i, which develops a power of 544hp from a V12 engine of 6.0l; we are waiting to see if BMW will introduce the new BMW M7 and we will share you details, photos and more.
