A couple of days ago, BMW delivered two BMW M6 GT3 racing cars to ROWE Racing team, which will be driven at the 24-hour races at the Nurburgirng, Spa-Francorchamps or the Blancpain GT Series championship.

ROWE Racing`s Director HansPeter Naundorf talks about the BMW M6 GT3: ”We are dealighted to partner with BMW. The ability to operate with the new BMW M6 GT3 motorsport at the highest level is challenging and motivating at the same time. As a successful long-distance team, we have – for the coming season – again ambitious goals in mind and we can go confidentyl into the new year.”

Besides ROWE Racing team, two other BMW M6 GT3s were also delivered to Turner Motosport, which will debut at the Rolex Daytona, next January, followed by German team Schubert Motorsport, with other two GT3s to be used at the same Nurburgring 24 Hours.

BMW`s Motorsport is also preparing for the 24-hour races, strengthening its leading position with DTM drivers, like Martin Tomczyk, Augusto Farfus, or Maxime Martin. The team`s lineup will be completed by WTSCC drivers Dirk Werner, Jens Klingmann, Richard Westbrook, Nick Catsburg or Philipp Eng.

The track-only BMW M6 GT3 is popping-up in our news again, the racer being recently delivered to Turner Motorsport. We are dealing here with two cars which will compete in different championships around the world.

The Turner Motorosport`s Markus Palttala driver, who was recently awarded the second BMW privateer driver in the entire world, will drive the #97 BMW M6 GT3, along with co-driver Michael Marsa, in the 2016 IMSA Wheathertech SportsCar Championship.

The team`s second driver Bret Curtis, will be behind the #96 BMW M6 GT3, alongside BMW Factory driver Jens Klingmann. The car`s first debut will be however, at the Rolex at Daytona, starting the 30th of January.

Besides Turner Motorsport, there are also other several teams to have received the BMW M6 GT3. We are talking here about German team Schubert Motorsport, with two GT3s racing at the Nurburghing 24 Hours.

The second largest team to get its hands on other two BMW M6 GT3s is Lowe Racing, which will compete at the same Nurburgring 24 Hours, followed by Blancpain GT, Spa 24 Horus or the FIA GT World Cup.

Under the hood, the BMW M6 GT3 is powered by an upgraded 4.4-liter M TwinPower Turbo V8 unit, which develops 500 horsepower and “impressively high-torque”.

BMW has launched a bunch of its latest flagships and now the German based carmaker has decided to switch on to the racing division, by adding the BMW M6 GTR to its BMW booth at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The racer will be part of the BMW Motorsport division and will set off for the first time at the 24-hour race at Nurburgring, next year.

But until its first race in 2016, the BMW M6 GT3 is currently available for display in Frankfurt, the model coming as the official replacer of the BMW Z4 GT3, which was pulled over in 2010. As opposed the former Z4 GT3, this particular racer comes with the latest technological and performance improvements.

The BMW Z4 GT3 is the first BMW racer to use a centrally-positioned driver`s seats, thanks to the longer wheelbase. This mod allows ”a driving feeling unparalleled on the racing scene.” The model also weighs 1,300 kg, which adds up more performance and improved handling.

Spealing about performance, the BMW Z4 GT3 will make use of an M TwinPower Turbo engine, which will eventually equip a future series production model. Rumors state that the racer would produce around 585 horsepower and would come with a more fuel efficiency.

The BMW M6 GT3 was already previewed in some spy shots last week, with the occasion of an event held for all racing teams at the TOTAL 24 hours of Spa.

Now, we have the confirmation that the BMW M6 GT3 will debut in a world premiere at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show and will have an asking price of whopping 379,000 euros in Europe, once it will be launched on the market, at the beginning of next year.

Thus, the BMW M6 GT3 will make its racing debut at the 24 Hours Dubai or Rolex 24 Daytona, coming with an extremely aggressive and aerodynamic body style, thanks to its massive rear wing, ventilated hood, the carbon fiber front splitter and roof hatch.

The carbon fiber components will play a major role in the race car`s aerodynamics, the model now weighing just 1,300 kg and capable of reaching impressive speed and high-performance figures.

As already discussed, the BMW M6 GT3 will use a race-customized 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, developing 585 horsepower, via a six-speed sequential gearbox. The performance figures are still kept secret, BMW revealing more details on the 15th of September, when the model is expected for an official debut.

The racing version of the M6, the GT3, was recently caught on new shots, the model being presented at the TOTAL 24 hours of Spa, with the occasion of an event held for all racing teams.

The 2016 BMW M6 GT3 is set to be unveiled on the market at the beginning of next year, the race car making its debut at the 24H Dubai or Rolex 24 Daytona.

As one might depict from the spy shots, the 2016 BMW M6 GT3 is coming with an extreme aggressive and more aerodynamic body style, which is especially set for the track, along with the massive rear wing and ventilated hood.

Other aerodynamic features include some carbon fiber parts at the front splitter as well as the roof hatch, which will allow driver escape from the car in case of a fire or accident.

All these new body parts will help the 2016 BMW M6 GT3 be more powerful, adding-up the 4.40-liter V8 engine, which is specifically modified for the track, meaning a pure 506 horsepower, hooked to a six-speed sequential gearbox, also designed for the race.

We do not know for the moment the pricing details, but we hope that the German based carmaker will add some information later on.

And for that, a lot of important drivers have tested the durability of the upcoming BMW M6 GT3, which would definitely by a real winner, according to some journalists present at the testing scenes in Spain and Portugal.

Concerning the pure power of the BMW M6 GT3, the famous drivers have had the chance of testing the high-performance M TwinPower Turbo V8 unit, which provides the racing car with a lot of grip, driveability as well as stance on the tracks. Not to mention the revving of the engine, which is absolutely amazing.

BMW released today initial details on the M6 GT3, a model that is going to debut in the racing series starting 2016. The German model is still wearing camouflage but we can see that it got a massive body kit.

We talk about new front and rear bumpers, a revised hood, side exhausts, a big rear wing and a revised suspension that lowers the ground clearance.

Power comes from a 4.4-liter V8 turbo engine delivering over 500 horses through a six-speed sequential gearbox. The model weighs only 1,300 kilograms, therefore, all that power will surely provide impressive performance figures.

“This is a big moment for everyone who has worked so intensely and passionately on the development of the BMW M6 GT3 in recent months,” says the company.

The improved total weight was possible by stripping down the interior. Inside, there’ll be the sport seat as well as a roll-cage and other minor equipment. BMW is currently testing the new M6 GT3 at their plant in Dingolfing with more details to be released in the coming months.

More than that, the chassis has been also modified by hand at the BMW Motorsport plant in Munich, to cope with the high demands on the racing track.

In terms of technology, the BMW M6 GT3 imported the state-of-the-art motorsport development, focusing on a newly racing box, racing ABS as well as racing electronics.

These technological changes would make the M6 GT3 racing car much more safety, reliable and affordable in terms of running costs.
