Even if diesel hot cars do not fancy most of the aftermarket shops, there are models that can be transformed into real beasts if proceeding with caution.

And VOS is that tuner that can handle a lot when it comes to customizing difficult rides, like this BMW M550d seen here, which has received a power boost under the hood.

VOS` motto ”Vision of Speed” is perfectly matching this M550d, which is now proudly producing 450 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, from the stock 381 horsepower and 740 Nm of torque. The entire power kit costs just 2,290 euros.

But there are also other important features that can be installed on your M550d, each one coming with its own cost. For instance, you can also opt for the AEZ wheels, available at 2,490 euros, or the high-performance brakes with the Brembo brake disks and four-piston calipers, which will set you back at another 2,695 euros.

In case you want a lower ride height, than you can also coose the new H&R Performance springs, which cost 499 euros. All of these might make the BMW M550d one of the most powerful diesel ever seen on the market.

German tuner VOS is coming back with their latest tuning project carried out on this exclusive BMW M550d, the hot version receiving significant upgrades under the hood.

You may perhaps wonder why should an M550d receive a power boost, when it is already the embodiment of power and classy design?

Honestly, I don’t know the answer to the question, and even if the M550d is considered a classic amongst classics with unique design and performance, it does deserve some improvements from once in a while.

And this one seen here received exactly what it deserved: a power boost provided by the aftermarket specialists from VOS. This one now packs 450 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, which is quite impressive, as opposed to the stock 380 horsepower and 740 Nm of torque. No performance figures were released.

Apart the sheer power under the hood, this BMW M550d has also received some special wheels, courtesy to AEZ Wheels tuner. They are sized 8.5×20 and 9.5×20 front and rear and are wrapped in the Michelin Pilot Super Sport rubbers, measuring 245/35-20 and 275/30-20. The wheels are priced at 2,490 euros.

In case you want additional features, then you can get the high-performance Brembo brakes and four-piston calipers for another 2,695 euros, or the H&R Performance springs for an additional 500 euros.
