The Germans at BMW revealed the M Sport version of the 2 Series Active Tourer. The company’s hatchback gets now larger alloy wheels (17- or 18-inch), a high-gloss black grille, revised bumpers and a lowered ground clearance.

The latter is due to the revised suspension system which should improve the handling besides the 10mm drop. Under the hood, you will find the same engines, namely a 1.5-liter petrol units with 136 horses and 220 Nm of torque as well as two 2.0-liter engines.

The petrol version produces 231 hp and 350 Nm of torque while the diesel counterpart provides 150 hp and 330 Nm of torque.

Inside, the M Sport package brings sports seats, anthracite roof liner, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and M door sill plates.

There’s no official pricing for the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer M Sport yet but as the debut date gets closer, we will surely be informed in this regard.

After revealing the M Sport Package specially designed for the current 6 Series range, the Germans from BMW apply the same styling treatment to the smaller 3 Series range, the aesthetic improvements being available for both Coupe and Convertible variants. At the exterior, the M Sport Package comes with the standard improvements such as the aerodynamic kit including a new Silverstone finish, 18-inch Ferric Grey alloy wheels, a boot lid spoiler and of course new front and rear bumpers. The Coupe version gets revised side mirrors with black finish as well.

Entering the cabin, the BMW 3 Series with M Sport Package reveals new M Sport seats and steering wheel, Aluminium Glacier Silver trim, stainless steel pedals and aluminum footrest. Technically, BMW fitted the 3 Series with a sport suspension but nothing very impressive.

“M Sport Edition adds another layer to the athletic capability of the BMW 3 Series Coupé and BMW 3 Series Convertible. M Sport suspension joins forces with other interior and exterior equipment features to inject even greater intensity into the dynamic driving experience,” says BMW.

The BMW 3 Series Coupe and Convertible also benefit from a new Exclusive Edition which brings more styling choices such as an extended range of exterior colors including Mineral Grey along 18-inch Space Grey alloy wheels and Oxide Silver side mirrors. The interior of the BMW 3 Series Exclusive Edition gains new high quality materials such as Bamboo Grain Anthracite trim, new Dakota leather upholstery in two choices, Pearl Grey or Black, both with contrasting grey or white stitching.

The BMW Individual range is also available for the current 3 Series Convertible, a new hardtop in Titanium Silver metallic or Black is available alongside a wider range of exterior choices. These styling improvements are scheduled to enter the range this fall, the current 5 Series and 6 Series generations benefiting from similar packages.

The Germans from BMW decided to reveal the M Sport package specially designed for the new-generation 6 Series. The styling package developed by the Bavarians will be available starting this fall for both the Coupe and Convertible variants. For the beginning, we will talk only about the M Sport package but we go in depth these days with further details as the Germans plan to upgrade the engine range of the current 6 Series generation but also introduce the xDrive system, a first for this range.

As expected, the 2012 BMW 6 Series the M Sport package brings just styling improvements including new 19-inch M alloy wheels in double-spoke design, new side skirts, revised front and rear bumpers and LED foglamps. The interior receives a special treatment as well with new an M leather steering wheel and new sports seats covered with leather and Alcantara.

Moreover, the BMW Individual range will allow you to customize the model even more with some extra exclusive paint finishes, new alloy wheels and more advanced styling options for the interior. Starting this autumn, BMW also plans to add new functions to the ConnectedDrive system of the current 6 Series generation. This means that a bunch of new features such as the Stop & Go function, Active Cruise Control, Collision Warning with braking function and the innovative Real-Time Traffic Information system will be available.

The new BMW 6 Series Coupe will benefit from a new Bang & Olufsen High End Surround Sound System with 16 speakers and a total output of 1,200 watts. The Convertible variant will get the same innovative audio system with 12 speakers and an output of 1,000 watts, both of the systems being fitted with the exclusive Acoustic Lens Technology.

Here is a set of photos and also few details on the new M sport package prepared for the BMW X1 E84, a sport package scheduled to debut in front of the audience at the incoming Geneva Motor Show. No improvements can be seen under the bonnet but the M package manages to improve the appearance of the model at least.

Outside you can opt for 17 or 18-inch alloy wheels, new side sills, wider wheels arches and revised front and rear bumpers. A new sport suspension which manages to improve the ride is available to for the X1 M Sport Package.

At the interior, the German model fitted with the new package gets a new gear lever knob, a sports steering wheel but also M-badged side sills and sport seats. The new BMW X1 M Sport will be displayed in front of the audience at the long-awaited Geneva Motor Show which is scheduled to start in March.
