BMW Japan has announced the introduction of the 4-Series Gran Coupe “In Style” Edition on the local market, each of the 200 units available costing 6,230,000 YEN, or the equivalent of $52,525.

The BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe “In Style” Edition is indeed a special model, as it comes with the M Sport Package and other additional equipment.

From a visual standpoint, the “In Style” version of the 420i model packs LED headlights, or the 19-inch double-spoke alloy wheels with a two-tone satin aluminum finish, which perfectly complement the Mineral Gray body wrap.

The cabin also adds some nice features, like Dakota leather upholstery with saddle brown accent, perfectly blending in with the wood trim on the center console, dashboard, or door handles. Pearl gloss chrome accents where also added throughout the cabin.

Under the hood, the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe “In Style” Edition packs the same 2.0-liter flat-four turbocharged engine, developing 181 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque. The engine is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The aftermarket specialists from the Japanese based 3D Design tuning company have recently fitted the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe M Sport Package with a special tuning program.

The BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe has now received a special make over, meaning a carbon fiber front spoiler, splitters, side skirts, trunk spoiler, roof spoiler out from carbon fiber and a few more.

We are talking about a model which stands above the two-door coupe and under the M4 Coupe, coming with a sleek look and sporty lines.

When it went on the market, the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe came fitted with three packages, the Sport, the Luxury and the M Sport Package.

Under the hood, the North American based model came equipped with two engines, meaning the 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo and 240 horsepower, on the 428i Coupe, while the 435i Gran Coupe was fitted with the 3.0-liter inline six, with 300 horsepower.

On the other hand, the 428i xDrive Gran Coupe will come available with the BMW`s intelligent all-wheel drive layout, all versions being equipped with the 8-speed sport automatic transmission.

The aftermarket specialists from the famous AC Schnitzer tuning company have recently introduced an upgraded program on the one-off BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe, the model boosting with both visual and performance features.

In terms of design and style, the gorgeous BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe has been fitted with a revised front spoiler and rear diffuser, mirror covers wrapped in carbon fiber, a chromed front grille and a rear skirt protective film.

Inside the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe, the cabin is all marked by AC Schnitzer, tweaking an aluminum handbrake, gear knob with a digital gear display, aluminum “Black Line” gear knob, aluminum pedals and much more.

Under the hood, the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe by AC Schnitzer has also been upgraded, the sports car now receiving power for six of its versions.

We are talking about the BMW 428i producing 294 horsepower, the 435i coming with 350 horsepower, the 420i with 245 horsepower, the 420d sporting 218 horsepower, while the 430d goes 309 horses and the 435d, coming with 360 horsepower.

With the recent launch of the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe, everybody was expecting an M4 Gran Coupe version coming this fall, based on the statements that Norbert Reithofe, the CEO at BMW, had launched on a press release.

To further confirm the misinterpretation of Reithhofe, Jorg Bartels, the M sales boss from BMW, also declared in Australia during the launch of the M3 Sedan and the M4 Coupe, that the company would not built an M version of the 4-Series Gran Coupe.

The reason of not building an M4 Gran Coupe version was due to the massive production volume of the 4-Series Gran Coupe, as the model is built “in a different factory to both the 3 Series (sedan) and 4 Series (coupe), so there is a lot of challenges there,” to also quote Bartels.

The F30 3-Series Sedan and the fresh F80 M3 Sedan are being built at the BMW`s plant in Regensburg, while the F32 4-Series Coupe and the F82 M4 are being manufactured in Munich.

On the other hand, the BMW F36 4-Series Gran Coupe is headed for the production line at the BMW`s facility in Dingolfing, so the building of an M4 Gran Coupe would pose serious problems to the company while dealing with three models at the same time.

The BMW German based luxury automaker has recently released a new set of pics with the fresh new 4-Series Gran Coupe model.

The BMW automaker has first launched the online configurator for the 4-Series Gran Coupe and now the sportscar is in the spotlights again, in some photos.

The BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe model will be coming available in Europe starting this summer, being offered with an engine lineup that includes three petrol burners and two diesels.

The diesel units in Europe refer to the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, developing 141 horsepower for the 418d, while the 420d will output 182 horsepower.

The 420d is also considered to be the most fuel-efficient model, with a consumption of 4.5L / km.

In the United States, the BMW automaker will launch the 4-Series Gran Coupe in the 428i and the 435i models, with the trunk capacity of the four-door coupe standing now at 480 liters, which is 35 more than on the 4-Series Coupe.

As for the prices involved for the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe in Europe or in the US, there are no news yet, but perhaps the BMW automaker will also launch some info soon enough.

The BMW German based luxury automaker has finally launched the online configurator for the 4-Series Gran Coupe model.

The BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe was launched in February and one month later the vehicle was worldwide displayed at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

Now, the BMW carmaker has launched the online configurator in the US, with all the details you might want to find about the 4-Series Gran Coupe.

Thus, the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe is based on the 3-Series model, being a little bit smaller than the 6-Series Gran Coupe, with 4,638 mm long, 1,825 mm wide and riding on 2,810 mm wheelbase.

More than that, the online configurator also gives you a closer glimpse at the capacity of the 4-Series, as it has a trunk space of 480 liters, which is 35 liters more than the two-door sibling, being able to have a 1,300 liter increase, with the rear seats being folded.

Under the hood, the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe comes with a 2.0-liter unit, developing 240 horses and 345 Nm of torque, for the 428i Gran Coupe.

The BMW 435i Gran Coupe comes with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, developing 300 horsepower and 406 Nm of torque.

The BMW`s new 4-Series Gran Coupe has just been unveiled for the first time at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, of something that could be the next-gen of mid-sized sedan.

The model was first unveiled on the web a month ago, and now, the German base automaker is making its way through the Geneva`s stands with the 4-Series Gran Coupe.

The Gran Coupe seems to be longer than the previous model, the luxury car being 1,825 mm in width, 2,819 mm in wheelbase and also sporting a longer roof, making extra space for its 480 liter in the trunk.

The 4-Series Gran Coupe takes its power from its previous 3-Series sedan and 4-Series coupe, taking its throttle from the 420i version which develops 181 bhp and the 418d with 141 bhp, to the more powerful 435i to develop 300 bhp and 300 lb-ft, for a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine.

BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe comes with the standard rear-wheel drive as well as a choice of an all-wheel drive xDrive, depending on the auto dealers from the market.

The German car manufacturer is reconsidering the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe price for the British market, asking for around £29,420 price, for the 4-door coupe, which would be the same as the 2-door version.

The 420i version will be just the entry level variant, powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, developing a reasonable 184 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque.

The petrol version comes with 245 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, for the price of £32,815. The 435i model, which is the most expensive petrol model, has a starting price of £41,155.

As for the diesel version, we are talking about 3 models available, having a starting price of £30,995, 418d up to £31,795 420d, with a higher price for the 420 xDrive version, for £34,795.

All versions will be using a 2.0-liter diesel engine, developing 143 horsepower and also 184 horsepower, depending on the application.

The BMW`s 4-Series Gran Coupe (F36) it is just round the corner for a world debut at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show. The car was also spotted for a spin through some spied photos.

The photos show some patent design images with the upcoming 4-Series Gran Coupe, which is a clear indication on how the car would look under its camouflage. The images don’t reveal the aspect of the car, but we might think it will be definitely a hatchback.

The Gran Coupe model (F36) has the same exterior as the Coupe, but it comes though with a prolonged roofline and two more doors. As for the interior, the model will feature the same styling as the other 4-Series models.

Concerning the power under the hood, the F36 will also sport the same engine lineup as the Coupe (F32) and the Convertible models.

The 4-Series Gran Coupe will be priced and also positioned in the 3 and 4-Series lineup, the way the 6-Series is prices and positioned in the 5 or 6-Series lineup, meaning that it stands between the coupe and the convertible models.
