If last week we’ve seen the BMW M4 Coupe sporting the M Performance parts, now is the time for the regular BMW 4-Series to get this treatment. To be more specific, the model pictured below, as you can see, is the open-top version. Yet again, it is displayed at the BMW Abu Dhabi Motors dealership.

At the exterior, the M Performance parts bring new front and rear spoilers, side skirts, an Akrapovic exhaust system and new M alloy wheels.

The exhaust pipes have carbon fiber tips while inside, the red Merino leather upholstery contrasts with the dark exterior appearance.

Other features found at the interior include the M Performance steering wheel which is covered in Alcantara, carbon fiber inserts, special badges and other minor tweaks.

In terms of performance, the M Performance Power Kit adds 34 horses and 50 Nm of torque to the 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine which usually provides 306 hp and 400 Nm of torque.

The aftermarket specialists from the Japanese based 3D Design tuning company have recently fitted the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe M Sport Package with a special tuning program.

The BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe has now received a special make over, meaning a carbon fiber front spoiler, splitters, side skirts, trunk spoiler, roof spoiler out from carbon fiber and a few more.

We are talking about a model which stands above the two-door coupe and under the M4 Coupe, coming with a sleek look and sporty lines.

When it went on the market, the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe came fitted with three packages, the Sport, the Luxury and the M Sport Package.

Under the hood, the North American based model came equipped with two engines, meaning the 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo and 240 horsepower, on the 428i Coupe, while the 435i Gran Coupe was fitted with the 3.0-liter inline six, with 300 horsepower.

On the other hand, the 428i xDrive Gran Coupe will come available with the BMW`s intelligent all-wheel drive layout, all versions being equipped with the 8-speed sport automatic transmission.

Best-Tuning released details and photos on their tuning kit for the new BMW 435i xDrive. The German model received new 20-inch alloy wheels with 235/30/20 (front) and 275/25/20 (rear) tires, a special exhaust system, a KW coilover suspension and a series of performance tweaks.

To be more specific, the 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine which powers the BMW 435i xDrive is capable to deliver 365 horsepower.

We talk about a 59 hp boost which should improve the 0-100 km/h acceleration time, even though official figures in this regard were not released yet.

According to Best-Tuning, the power improvement was obtained thanks to a revised ECU and is priced at €1,299. The revised suspension costs €1,100 while the new wheels come at €2,600.

There are a few BMW oriented tuners out there, like Alpina or AC Schnitzer, and their products are not just aesthetically pleasing, but also high quality.

Still, there are a lot of non-specialized tuners that have a lot to offer for the discerning customer.

A very good example would be Vilner, a Bulgarian company that specializes in interiors, and I have yet to see an ugly car to come out of their hands. There is also a similar company that hails from Poland, and also likes to fiddle with the inside, and they go by the name Carlex Design.

Carlex Design is not quite as well know as Vilner, but if we are to judge from the splendid work they did on this BMW 4 Series, we could say the future looks bright form them. They went with some high grade, natural black leather, nicely stitched together with red thread and even a few carbon fiber pieces here and there. Overall, a nice improvement.

It seems that the BMW 4-Series GranCoupe is the next one on the company’s list to benefit from the Individual package.

At the exterior, buyers will get a new set of 19-inch alloy wheels, special new finishes such as Tansanite Blue metallic, Pyrite Brown metallic, Moonstone metallic and Citrine Black metallic but also few matte options.

Entering the cabin, buyers will get an anthracite roof liner, Merino leather upholstery in a variety of colors, revised door panels and armrests but also BMW Indivudal door sill plates.

Ash Grain White, Plane Dark Red-Brown or Piano Black trim is also offered on the BMW 4-Series GranCoupe. As usual, BMW Individual comes with no performance tweaks, therefore, you can choose one of the many engines available for the standard model.

With the BMW German luxury car manufacturer being on a constant growth, the company is aiming to sell around 2 million vehicles in 2014, planning to ship the vehicles to the United States and China.

Norbert Reithofer, the CEO at the BMW Group stated in some reports at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show that for the first two months of this semester, the automaker has managed to reach a sales` growth of about 7% with the luxury Rolls-Royce and the Mini, and around 9% with the its own brands.

Reithofer also mentioned that in order to successfully handle with the demands up ahead, the German automaker will expand the two already existing plants in China and in the US.

The extended plants are meant to make room for the already going on sale the 4-Series line-up (Coupe, Cabrio, Gran Coupe), the famous M3/M4 and the BMW`s first all-wheel drive, the 2-Series Active Tourer.

Last year, the BMW manufacturer sold an overall 1.96 million units – with 1.66 million units of its own brands – and now the company is aiming for a further growth, to make sure that its rival Audi and Mercedes-Benz are left behind for good.

The fresh new Alpina B4 Bi-Turbo Cabrio will be world debuting next week at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, promising to come with a whole new enhanced features.

Alpina is BMW`s one of the most loved models, being ready to be unveiled in its full tuned styling, resembling its sibling BMW 4 Series, standing on its very own platform.

The Alpina B4 Bi-Turbo Cabrio received a restrained body kit, 20-inch alloy wheels and sports exhaust system. The model`s interior has also been changed with some minor tweaks, the cabin receiving embroidered headrests, sport steering wheel, or heated leather sport seats.

The model also received the Alpina branded door sill plates and also the special floor mats.

As for the power under the hood, the Alpina B4 Bi-Turbo Cabrio takes its power from the 3.0-liter twin turbo six-cylinder engine that can be also found on the B4 Bi-Turbo Coupe.

The engine develops 410 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque, as the unit is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The Alpina B4 Bi-Turbo Cabrio hits the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in around 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 301 km/h. The base price for this model will be 74,800 euros.

BMW pulled the wraps off the new 4 Series Gran Coupe Individual, a model which comes with a series of styling tweaks.

As we all know, BMW’s Individual program comes to offer an extra touch of style and premium materials. To be more specific, the German model benefits from 19-inch alloy wheels, a Moonstone Metallic finish and other minor tweaks.

Power is offered by a 2.0-liter diesel with 141hp, a more powerful 2.0-liter petrol engine producing 181 horsepower and a 3.0-liter six-cylinder with 300 horses and 406 Nm of torque.

Inside, buyers will get Merino leather seats, special stitching, Ash Grain White wood inserts and a leather-wrapped dashboard.

BMW is being tested by a lot of designers these days, to give its cars unique looks and extravagant features in terms of performance.

It is also the case of the BMW 4 Series which could be seen at the 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon with some interesting design offered by the Japanese guys from 3D Design.

The new M Sport kit that the 4 Series received concerns a new front fascia with fresh carbon fiber front lip. On the sides of the car, the 3D Design has brought new splitters, with a trunk spoiler and new diffuser at the back.

All the materials found on the car are made of urethane and carbon fiber, which brought the car into the spotlights at the biggest auto show in Japan.

The BMW 4 Series is also proud to wear a quad-tip sports exhaust taken from Arqray, which is another Japanese tuning company, along with some new rims.

The problem is that the new kit cannot be purchased in the US, but will land in the United States through their collaborator, iND Distribution soon enough.
