You probably remember BMW’s campaign called “One Origin. Two Originals”, even a special webpage being created in order to promote the mysterious models with two different personalities but one origin that finally proved to be the new 1 Series generation. If you forgot in the mean time, BMW released a teaser in early May promoting two models, one of them having an artistic character while the second being dynamic.

The official photo gallery of the new BMW 1 Series F20 is showing two models in the same colors as that vehicles and this could made us think back at the teaser. If this has not happened, BMW clearly shows their idea of a model with two personalities keeping the same story line as in the beginning.

To be more precise, BMW recently released two TV commercials of the new BMW 1 Series F20 starring two brothers, Freddy and Adam. The first one, Freddy, is an actor and a model while he prefers a more elegant approach which can be seen by his care to the clothing. On the other hand is Adam, a person who dislikes the cameras while enjoying sports and nature.

There is no point continuing telling you the script as you will find it by your own watching the following videos. Back to the new 1 Series generation spec sheet, we know that the new German model comes with five engine choices ranging from 116 to 184 horsepower. In terms of pricing, the details are still unknown but expect to find more as the Frankfurt debut is getting closer. A competitive price is also needed in order to fight against the rivals from Audi and Mercedes.

However, the most important feature of the new 1 Series generation remains the new four-cylinder engine lineup benefiting from TwinPower Turbo and fuel-saving technology such as Start/Stop as well. As we mentioned above, the new BMW 1 Series F20 is scheduled to be revealed in front of the audience at the long-awaited Frankfurt Auto Show. It would be interesting to see how far BMW can go with this campaign. Until then, take a look at the new 1 Series F20 and its two different characters.

Only two days after the official reveal of the new BMW 1 Series hatchback (F20), the Germans from BMW published photos and details with the M Sport package designed for the new 1 Series generation. However, they did not issued a press release with plenty details but let all the clients to take a sneak peek on their German website. To be more precise, using the online configurator you can customize the German model that benefits from the M Sport package.

Of course, the key elements that reveal details on the new BMW 1 Series M Sport are the photos available in the online configurator, images which does not compromise the performance figures. Therefore, we can’t make an idea regarding the performance upgrades that will be brought by the M Sport package to the four-cylinder engine lineup.

However, we can see what styling updated features the M Sport package both at the exterior and interior. For the beginning, BMW comes with a new front bumper, M Sport alloy wheels and a revised rear bumper, ordinary modifications indeed. Entering the cabin, the styling package will make its presence felt by high quality materials, a set of new sport seats, a new leather upholstery, revised door panels, door sills with the M logo and also a new sport steering wheel.

New handbrake and gear levers are available too alongside aluminum pedals and aluminum trim for most of the elements. Largely, these are the details compromised by BMW’s online configurator which now lets you customize the new BMW 1 Series generation with the M Sport package. The M Sport package is scheduled to debut in March, which means that we have to wait few months to order the additional equipment.

As you already know, the new 1 Series generation is scheduled to be revealed in front of the audience at the Frankfurt Auto Show which opens its gates later this year, in September more exactly. With this occasion, BMW may reveal official photos or further details regarding the M Sport Package specially designed for the new 1 Series generation.

BMW released the first official teaser with the new BMW 1 Series F20, a model with one origin but however two originals, as the new motto claims. As you can see, the teaser photo presents two covered vehicles, two models with different personalities, one artistic and one dynamic.

Of course, all this nice wrapped story has a translation into automotive terms, thus, expect to see a quite big difference between the two versions of the new BMW 1 Series F20.

These new spy shots with the next generation BMW 1 Series, known as F20, reveal us some new interesting details regarding the small Bavarian model that is expected to debut later this year. At the exterior we note the side indicators placed in the side mirrors, a first for the German model but also the revised optical blocks benefiting now from Angel Eyes.

In terms of performance, the prototype tested in the snowy conditions benefits from a four-wheel drive traction system but also from the powertrain consisting of the new 2.0-liter diesel unit and the eight-speed gearbox. By far the most interesting photo is that catching the interior.

The interior shot shows us the main components even some of them are covered. However we can note the touchscreen navigation system and other revised parts able to bring a fresh air inside the Bavarian model. Of course, we can’t ignore the exterior spy shots which offer precious information on the new 1 Series generation. Here we go!
