Following the successful debut of the all-new 2017 BMW 5 Series Sedan in Europe and announced for the market in February and March, respectively, the German based carmaker is also testing out the top of the line F90 M5, seen in the spy video below, while undergoing tests in Los Angeles, US, and wearing full camouflage.

Even if the camouflage hides the most important details that the new M5 will be coming with, we could still depict the areas that would receive noticeable changes.

The F90 BMW M5 wears the overall design of the 5-Series Sedan, but will come with its own personal feel and touch, accentuating its aggressive look and styling. We are looking here at a much sportier front-end, adding twin-double pipes at the rear, as well as the flared wheels.

One of the car`s main highlight is no doubt – just like the M550i xDrive – the imposing kidney grille, now coming thicker and complemented with the new LED headlights. The aero flicks in front of the wheel arches also provide the model with a distinctive look.

Under the hood, the all-new F90 BMW M5 will receive upgraded mills, fully packed with the same high-performance V8 TwinTurbo technology, which would bring the model to its highest peak of 500 horsepower, which would be rather the same as the M4 GTS.

Also, for the first time, the company will add the long-expected all-wheel drive system, which will also be present on the future M6 models. The new system will improve the car`s driving dynamics offering a sporty feel and increase grip at the same time.

BMW`s latest flagships to be seen still running full tests are the long-expected and talked BMW 5-Series Sedan and Touring, recently seen in new spy photos, and wearing less camouflage, which indicates that both are getting closer to their final production versions.

This is not the first time we get our hands on the all-new 5-Series Sedan and Touring, the test mules already being previewed in recent spy photos. Chances are that we will see the 5-Series Sedan in Detroit, next January, while the Touring will be unveiled at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.

As we already know, the 5-Series and Touring are expected to ride on the company`s new CLAR platform, meaning that they would shed off around 100 kilos, which will translate in increase driving dynamics, more space inside and a wide choice of engines under the hood.

The 5-Series Sedan and Touring will be much bigger than the current versions, following BMW`s recent philosophy concerning its new body styling, bringing them much closer to the 7-Series. The interior and technology will be also borrowed from the all-new 7-Series, while the engine powertrain will refer to downsized configurations of the same 7-Series.

We are dealing here with the latest gadgetry and safety features, like Steering and Lane Control Assistant, Crossroads Warning system, adding Remote View 3D application and much more.

As for the engine choice, one of the most expected engines refer to the all-new 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline mill, hooked to an electric motor and put in motion by a lithium-ion battery pack with range of 32 km.

The BMW German luxury car manufacturer has issued a factory recall for its 2010-2012 models, which seems to have issued with its bolts.

The factory recall is available for particular vehicles being equipped with inline six-cylinder units, with around 156,130 being called back in factory all over the US.

The BMW dealerships all around the US will perform bolt fixes that hold the variable-camshaft timing unit housings in one place. Otherwise, there might be some chances of the bolts loosing or breaking.

Fortunately, in case of a bolt failure, the Check Engine or Service Engine Soon light will appear, along with a message being displayed on the car`s dashboard.

BMW warns that the drivers would the affected cars should get to their dealerships immediately, even if there is a time limit for the car to drive around with the alarm light being switched on.

The BMW car manufacturer also states that if the company`s VANOS bolt system is beyond repair, than the engineers will switch the engine in order to be put on a safe-mode, until the parts will have been replaced.

BMW have already sent notifications to drivers owing 2010-2012 models for the 3-Series, 5-Series Sedan, 5-Series Gran Turismo, the X3, X5, X6 crossovers or the Z4 sports car.
