The British based MINI has brought two of its latest models at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show, the all-new Convertible and the Clubman.

Both versions are making the US debut, being first previewed at the 2015 Tokyo Auto Show last month.

First, the MINI Convertible is based on the fixed-top three-door hatch, coming with an electric retractable soft roof, which can fully opened at speeds of up to 18 mph.

As it happens with most of its latest models, this MINI Convertible is also longer and wider than its predecessor, with around 3.9 inches and 1.7 inches, respectively. The longer wheelbase makes room for extra space inside.

Second, the MINI Clubman in its seconds generation has also grown in size, the model coming with a four-door body style, with the rear doors now opening with a swift kick under the bumper.

In the United States, the MINI Clubman will be available from $25,950 in the Cooper, the version packing a 1.5-liter three-cylinder unit with 134 horsepower. On the other hand, the Cooper S will be priced from $28,500 and will get a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, with 189 horsepower.

BMW is present at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show with some interesting models, like the recently previewed 2016 BMW M4 GTS, which occupies the stand with the new 2016 330e, 2016 X1 xDrive28i and the high-end 2016 BMW 7-Series.

BMW has presented the powertrains that these models are coming with once will hit their dealerships worldwide.

The 2016 BMW 330e packs a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo flat-six, which is backed by an electric motor through a 7.6 kWh lithium-ion battery. The hybrid powertrain develops 248 horsepower and 419 Nm of torque, enough to allow an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. The range mile also stands at around 34 km. The model will reach showrooms next spring and will cost $44,695.

Next, the BMW 2016 X1 xDrive28i features the same 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine, with 228 horsepower and 349 Nm of torque. It is hooked to an eight-speed automatic transmission which sends the power to all wheels. This particular model reaches 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds. The model is already available for sale from $35,795.

Last but not least, the 2016 BMW 7-Series comes with a choice at two engines at launch. We are dealing here with the 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo flat-six, in the 740i version, with 320 horsepower. On the other hand, the 750i packs a 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V8 mill with 445 horsepower. The 740i costs at least $82,295, while the 750i is set at $95,395.

The 2016 BMW M4 GTS was first unveiled about a month ago at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, but BMW fans have the opportunity of seeing it launched at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show as well.

As we already know, this is the more potent version of the current BMW M4, which comprises performance with technology. The GTS is making use of a 3.0-liter flat-six M TwinPower Turbo engine with water injection technology, the same one seen on the BMW M4 MotoGP Safety Car. The engine churns out 500 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque, allowing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, at a topping of a limited 305 km/h.

The 2016 BMW M4 GTS comes with a wide choice of exterior color, such as the the Sapphire Black metallic, Alpine White, Frozen Dark Grey Metallic and Mineral Grey.

In terms of visuals, the 2016 BMW M4 GTS features a carbon fiber aero kit, which makes it lighter and more agile. We are looking here at a new carbon fiber bonnet, new front and rear bumpers, carbon fiber rear diffuser with titanium mufflers for the exhaust system, and so on.

The cabin also tweaks a lot of high-end materials, such as Alcantara or Merino leather, Alcantara sport steering, updated center console and more.

Unfortunately, only 700 units will be manufactured worldwide, with North America to receive 300 of them, once it will hit dealerships next spring. Each 2016 BMW M4 GTS will have a MSRP price of $134,200.
