The 2016 BMW M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe are finally arriving in the Unites States, but unfortunately for some BMW fans, the 2016 models will cost more as the previous 2015 generation, and that thanks to cars` additional features at the body as well as inside.

In the United States, the 2016 BMW M3 will cost $1,245 more, meaning a total of $64,195, while the 2016 BMW M4 Coupe will be priced from $66,395. On the other hand, the 2016 BMW M4 Convertible will set you back at $74,895, all versions adding more features, with additional prices of course.

At the body, both models will receive some slight changes, such as the updated full-LED rear lights and LED lighting tail lamps, while inside the interiors will come with chrome trims.

Apart the chrome inserts, you can also buy the Harman Kardon surround system, satellite radio and the keyless entry, for an additional $875, while the Navigation system Professional with LTE is also available on the market.

Concerning the powertrain under the hood, the BMW German based carmaker has not announced any upgrades for the moment, which means that both the 2016 BMW M3 and M4 will be packing the same 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine, outputting 431 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, enough to run from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds.

The 2015 BMW M4 was recently put against the 2015 Lexus RC F in a race track, the event being also presented in a video.

The two rear-drive luxurious coupes were put face to face on the racetrack at the Hyundai`s Proving Ground, where the two models have been engaged into a battle of tire smoking.

If we were to compare the two hot rides, we should start by bragging the 2015 BMW M4 which comes with a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder unit, developing 425 horsepower, between 5,500-7,300 rpm, while the 406 lb-ft of torque is carried between 1,850-5,500 rpm.

The 2015 BMW M4 is 10 kilograms lighter than the V8 predecessor and is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, when hooked to the M-DCT transmission.

On the other hand, the 2015 Lexus RC F is packing a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 unit, developing 467 horsepower and 389 lb-ft of torque, being sent to the rear wheels, hooked to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The American aftermarket specialists from the Dinan Engineering tuning have recently announced some power upgrades for 2015 BMW M3 and M4.

We are talking here about the Dinar`s Dinantronics Performance Tuner, which would maximized the increase of torque on both M3 and M4.

Dinan Engineering have also announced that their customed performance tuner would not affect the performance or the “long term dependability” of the M3 and M4.

Other performance tuners might cause some issues in the fuel mixture and ignition timing as well, because of the exhaust temperatures go up when boosting power.

Instead, the Dinan Engineering`s tuner is different, because “it can customize the fuel`s target mixture for bith the short and the long term,” as the tuning company self explains.

More than that, both the M3 and the M4 would be safe, as the power will lift while the engine keeps an adjusted air and fuel mixture.

Thus, the Dinan`s Dinantronics Performance Tuner will safely boost the power of the M3 and M4 from the standard 430 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, to an impressive 516 horsepower and 48- lb-ft of torque.

The 2015 BMW M4 Austin Yellow model was recently spotted while undergoing some hot laps at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca with the model also being showcased in a video.

Behind the wheels of the 2015 BMW M4 was old-timer and professional driver Randy Pobst who decided to override the BMW M4 on the track, for the Motor Trend’s 2014 Best Driver’s Car Powered by Mobil 1.

The pro driver managed to finish the lap in a good impressive 1:39.69, which is quite impressive, taking into the account the difficult challenges that the track might have subjected the driver to.

Both the BMW M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe are equipped with a 3.0-liter turbocharged unit under the hood, producing a great 425 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque.

Since the car weighs less than 1,500 kg, hence the impressive results of the BMW M4, when reaching the 0 to 100 km/h mileage in just 4.1 seconds with the DCT.

On the other hand, the BMW M3 is able to run the same distance in 4.3 seconds, hooked to the same DCT, so it is pretty obvious that the two siblings always go hand in hand, no matter the occasion.

The recently debuting 2014 BMW M3 Sedan and the BMW M4 Coupe were taken for a spin by different famous online auto publications.

It was also the case of the BMW M4 Coupe that was taken for a 1,000-mile test drive, with a positive review to consider from the AutoExpress UK publication, the one “responsible” with the review.

The AutoExpress UK took the BMW M4 Coupe on the Austrian mountains, followed by Autobahn and eventually arriving on Nurburgring tracks.

To be a reminder, the 2015 BMW M3 Sedan was put out on the market for no less than $62,000 while the 2015 BMW M4 Coupe went for sale a little bit higher, with $64,200.

Both models came out with a variety of finishes, apart from the two paintjobs that made the two sports cars famous, meaning the Yas Marina Blue and Austin Yellow Metallic.

The other great exterior finishes include the Alpine White, Mineral Grey Metallic, Sakhir Orange, Black Sapphire Metallic, Silverstone Metallic or the Mineral White Metallic.

The BMW German based manufacturer has launched new videos with the M4 Convertible showing off on the tracks and not only.

The fresh-new out of the box BMW M4 Convertible will be publicly displayed at the 2014 New York Auto Show next month, but until then, the convertible was brought up-close through a series of promo videos.

The BMW M4 Convertible is showing off with a standard six-speed manual transmission or with a seven-speed M Double Clutch, with some other tweaks to be put on.

As additional tweaks, we might be talking about an Active M Differential, a CFRP drive shaft, an electric power steering or an optional EDC Adaptive M Suspension with 3 driving modes.

Under the hood, the BMW M4 Convertible sports the same unit also put on the M3 Sedan or the M4 Coupe, meaning a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine.

The engine develops 425 horsepower (317 kW) at 5,500-7,300 rpm, with a peak torque of 550 Nm (406 lb-ft), at 1,850-5,500 rpm.

The BMW M4 Convertible runs the 0 to 100 km mileage in 4.2 seconds, with the DCT, and around 4.4 seconds with the manual transmission.

Another BMW supercar, the M4 goes wild on the tracks, after recently seeing the M5 Competition Package model showing off in a video.

The first video with the fresh M4 reveals the supercar in its max on the Brands Hatch tracks in the UK. The driver behind the wheels is no one than the famous Andy Priaulx, the European and the World Touring Champion.

The excitement felt behind the steering-wheel is given by the car`s power found under the hood. We might be talking about a 3.0-liter straight-six naturally aspirated V8 engine, outputting a total of 425 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque.

The power sends the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds, with the supercar being limited at 150 mph. The power and the torque aren`t the car`s only great points.

We are also talking about the supercar being 176 lighter than the last model, along with some electronic tweaks like the fresh BMW M Laptimer app, which allows you to record all the driving metrics on track.

More than that, the BMW M Laptimer gives you the choice of also recording the top speed, the ambient temperature or the G forces being output on the car.

After their debut at the 2014 Detroit Motor Show, the new BMW M3 and M4 benefit from a big wave of speculations about their starting prices.

To begin with, the 2015 BMW M3 is rumored to begin at $62,000, a price which doesn’t include a $925 destination and handling fee. If you want the bigger M4 you have to add about $2,200 to the M3’s starting price tag.

As a reminder, both models are powered by a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine producing 431 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, enough for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4,1 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.

Besides the new powerplant, both vehicles will be fitted with special exterior finishes including Yas Marina and Black Sapphire, both seen on NAIAS’s stage, Austin Yellow, Silverstone, Mineral White, Alpine White and Sakhir Orange.

The new BMW M3 and M4 will go on sale shortly, at the beginning of this summer to be more precise.
