The 2016 BMW M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe are finally arriving in the Unites States, but unfortunately for some BMW fans, the 2016 models will cost more as the previous 2015 generation, and that thanks to cars` additional features at the body as well as inside.

In the United States, the 2016 BMW M3 will cost $1,245 more, meaning a total of $64,195, while the 2016 BMW M4 Coupe will be priced from $66,395. On the other hand, the 2016 BMW M4 Convertible will set you back at $74,895, all versions adding more features, with additional prices of course.

At the body, both models will receive some slight changes, such as the updated full-LED rear lights and LED lighting tail lamps, while inside the interiors will come with chrome trims.

Apart the chrome inserts, you can also buy the Harman Kardon surround system, satellite radio and the keyless entry, for an additional $875, while the Navigation system Professional with LTE is also available on the market.

Concerning the powertrain under the hood, the BMW German based carmaker has not announced any upgrades for the moment, which means that both the 2016 BMW M3 and M4 will be packing the same 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine, outputting 431 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, enough to run from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds.

The long-rumored and rendered 2015 BMW M3 Touring is seemingly out of the Shakespeare`s Hamlet play, with the famous question to be asked: ”to be or not to be?” With so many reports announcing the arrival of the M3 Touring in the past, BMW has yet the last word: BMW M3 Touring is out of the question.

The announcement was made by a BMW official who has made it clear for Autovisie online auto publication that the carmaker does not plan a future M3 Touring, which would compete against the already available Mercedes-Benz C63 Estate / C63 S Estate as well as the Audi RS4 Avant.

More than that, the official has let the impression that a future BMW M3 Touring might be a huge investment which would lead to a serious of losses in other parts of the world, except in Central Europe. Additionally, neither the M5 would receive a Touring version.

If it were in the cards, the 2015 BMW M3 Touring would have packed the same 3.0-liter six-cylinder M TwinPower Turbo taken from the standard M3, with 431 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, hooked to a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual clutch transmission.

From a visual standpoint, the 2015 BMW M3 Touring would have borrowed the same design cues seen on the updated BMW M3, coming as well with a more aggressive rear end. But more than its unexpected arrival, the 2015 BMW M3 Touring is set to come up with a lot of power and torque, even if the same 3.0-liter six-cylinder M TwinPower Turbo will be fitted under the hood. We might be dealing here with figures around 425 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, available between 1,850 rpm and 5,500 rpm. This would be enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in around 4 seconds, at a topping of 280 km/h, thanks to the M Driver`s Package.

Apart from the great torque, the 2015 BMW M3 Touring will also look nice, thanks to the sporty body style, which adds new front and rear bumpers, with the M3 badge surrounding the entire body. We were already acquainted with the bitter battle between the 2015 BWM M3 and the 2016 Cadillac ATS-V, but some recent statements as well as a video released on the web, seemed to favor the 2016 ATS-V as the leading sports car in its class, outpassing the impressive 2015 BMW M3.

The statements were given by Johan De Nysschen as well as by Carlos Lago from Motor Trend, who have long praised the qualities of the ATS-V model on the tracks at Circuit of the Americas. The American aftermarket specialists from the Dinan Engineering tuning have recently announced some power upgrades for 2015 BMW M3 and M4.

We are talking here about the Dinar`s Dinantronics Performance Tuner, which would maximized the increase of torque on both M3 and M4.

Dinan Engineering have also announced that their customed performance tuner would not affect the performance or the “long term dependability” of the M3 and M4.

Other performance tuners might cause some issues in the fuel mixture and ignition timing as well, because of the exhaust temperatures go up when boosting power.

Instead, the Dinan Engineering`s tuner is different, because “it can customize the fuel`s target mixture for bith the short and the long term,” as the tuning company self explains.

More than that, both the M3 and the M4 would be safe, as the power will lift while the engine keeps an adjusted air and fuel mixture.

Thus, the Dinan`s Dinantronics Performance Tuner will safely boost the power of the M3 and M4 from the standard 430 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, to an impressive 516 horsepower and 48- lb-ft of torque.

After their debut at the 2014 Detroit Motor Show, the new BMW M3 and M4 benefit from a big wave of speculations about their starting prices.

To begin with, the 2015 BMW M3 is rumored to begin at $62,000, a price which doesn’t include a $925 destination and handling fee. If you want the bigger M4 you have to add about $2,200 to the M3’s starting price tag.

As a reminder, both models are powered by a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine producing 431 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, enough for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4,1 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.

Besides the new powerplant, both vehicles will be fitted with special exterior finishes including Yas Marina and Black Sapphire, both seen on NAIAS’s stage, Austin Yellow, Silverstone, Mineral White, Alpine White and Sakhir Orange.

The new BMW M3 and M4 will go on sale shortly, at the beginning of this summer to be more precise.

I can`t help talking about the BMW`s stars M3 and M4 over and over again, since they were the ones to give the tone for the next generation of car luxury and high sport generation of BMW at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.

A lucky biker stumbled upon the 2015 BMW M3 while the Germans were shooting what seems to be a commercial for the upcoming sports car. The F80 BMW M3 is expected to debut at the Detroit Motor Show next year, alongside the next-gen BMW M4.

Under the hood, we should find a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine producing approximately 424 horsepower and 500Nm of torque.

We talk about a twin-turbocharged inline-six which will be linked to a six-speed manual transmission. Of course, an optional seven-speed M DCT gearbox with launch control could be ordered as well.

The vehicle spotted by the biker using the helmet action camera was wearing a special Yas Marina Blue Metallic finish. Other notable styling features include M alloy wheels and a carbon fiber roof.
