A promotional video was recently launched by BMW showing the 2-Series Coupe as the main link between the model in question and the legendary 2002.

Since the 2002 model was replaced by the 3-Series back in the old 70s, the general idea was to create a bridge between the iconic ride and the fresh new 2-Series Coupe.

To go back, the BMW 2-Series Coupe received its official unveiled just a few months ago, when the cheapest model 228i Coupe was ready to hit the US market, having a starting price of just $32,100.

The top of the line M235i Coupe can also be yours at the price of $43,100, as it comes with a 3.0-liter with six-cylinder turbocharged engine, developing 332 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque.

BMW 2-Series M235i Coupe

The BMW 2-Series Coupe is quite fast with an acceleration of just 4.8 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h, as the automatic transmission knows how to do its job.

As for the top speed, the BMW 2-Series Coupe is electronically limited to 250 km/h.
