Who`s the Toughest: BMW M4 vs. Lexus RC F in Drag Race
It isn’t very often you get to see a BMW M4 taking on a Lexus RC F in a drag race, but apparently two old buddies started this as a joke and finished it in a real battle.
Nick Murray, the drummer of the garage rock band White Fence was a Porsche passionate, but since its last acquisition posed serious fault, he ditched it in favor of a BMW M4. Ever since, he has been seen in differen drag races, one dearest to him being the latest involving his best friend, who took alongside a Lexus RC F.
The two of them have already popped up in comparison tests, but I have never recalled seeing them taking against each other.
This time, the models took their chance in a drag race, and the result is seen in the video below. But before watching it together, let`s see some of the most highlights of both cars.
As we already know, the BMW M4 is a fast car, tweaked with a 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo straight six-cylinder engine, with 431 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, which runs from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds, and that with the help of a seven-speed DCT transmission, at a topping of 250 km/h.
On the other hand, the Lexus RC F is also an impressively powerful car, coming with a massive 5.0-liter V8 engine, with 467 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque, delivering a sprint in 4.4 seconds, via an eight-speed automatic. The car weighs 1,840 kg as opposed to the BMW M4, with 1,500 kg. And the weight is a serious threat that can affect the car`s performance and handling.
But we`d better watch the two of them confronting in the video below! Enjoy and don’t forget to write your opinions!
