BMW 1-Series Coupe Riding on Vossen Wheels
I find the the BMW 1-Series Coupe one of the most outstanding models that set the paces for the new 2-Series, coming with remarkable design cues and impressive performance under the hood. But adding up a few aftermarket parts and a set of new wheels, would make the Coupe even more standout.
And this BMW 1-Series exposed here does come with a splashing design and a one-off look, thanks to the black exterior color, the fitting of the new lowering kit as well as the new wheels from Vossen. The sports car is now lower and provides advanced road dynamics, while the bespoke Vossen CVT wheels provide more stance and stronger personality.
Under the hood, the BMW 1-Series Coupe has remained untouched, the sports car still fitting the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight six, with 306 horsepower, available at 5,800 rpm, and 400 Nm of torque, at 1,300 rpm. This would be just enough to reach 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds, at a topping of 250 km/h.
The BMW 1-Series started first sales in 2008 and reached the United States in the 128i and the 135i versions, with the 120i and the 125i reaching other countries, both models standing on the same platform. A short photo session released by Vossen Wheels tuning is also highlighting the gorgeous 1-Series Coupe standing on the one-off set of wheels. Enjoy!
