BMW`s i8 in Protonic Blue

Photographers from Stance Works have just taken some snapshots with the i8 being rendered in Protonic Blue color.

We are talking about an extraordinary color being enhanced on a modified i8, the hybrid car also coming with a choice of another three colors like Crystal White, Ionic Silver and Sophisto Grey.

As said, the color couldn’t have been perfect on the supercar, without the i8 receiving some minor wheelbase modifications.

We are talking about a lower and also wider front with prominent double kidney grill and with the V-shaped “black belt” coming along the bonnet and reaching the rear of the car with a dynamic style.

The super hybrid car can also be rendered from the front, since the i8 enhances a three-dimensional dynamic style, with monolithic look that really puts the car into a hot spotlight.

To be a reminder, the BMW i8 plug-in hybrid runs on a 1.5-liter three-cylinder TwinPower Turbo petrol unit, developing 231 horsepower, being backed by an electric unit that produces an additional 131 horsepower.

With a total of 342 horsepower to be put on all wheels, the i8 hybrid is sold in Germany at a base price of 126,000 euros.
