BWM announces Active Tourer Outdoor concept
Come next month and the 2013 OutDoor exhibition taking place in Friedrichshafen, Germany, BMW will unveil a new concept car, dedicated to those who like outdoors activities.
The German car maker has yet to release any pictures of this concept car, but July 12 isn’t that far away.
Called the Active Tourer Outdoor, this new Bimmer will meet “the special need of an outdoor and leisure time oriented target group”. While refusing to go into any details, BMW did say the Active Tourer Outdoor will combine “comfort and dynamic design with a high level of spatial functionality and intelligent access to BMW ConnectedDrive services.”
So far, we can only guess what this car will be. BMW could even be considering a seven seat machine, and if we are to take after the Active Tourer concept revealed last year, we can expect this new car to sport a plug-in hybrid engine.
While we can hope for more details to leak into the internet, we will find out all we want about the BMW Active Tourer Outdoor at the press conference held at the OutDoor exhibition.
