
BMW officially states: “Vision Efficient Dynamics enters production”
Back in 2009 at the Frankfurt Auto Show, BMW revealed an amazing concept called Vision EfficientDynamics, a model that imposed itself firstly by the aesthetics. Today, at Leipzig, where BMW manufactures several model, a full-working BMW Vision EfficientDynamics was revealed together with all the details we need to know.

The Bavarian model inspired from the concept bearing the same name brings out two electric engines and a three-cylinder turbodiesel propeller able to develop together 328 horsepower but manages to keep the CO2 emissions at 99 g/km while the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 4,8 seconds.

The fuel consumption figures were also released, BMW managing to optimize the hybrid sports car to need just 3,7 liters/100 km. Combining the autonomy figures of the electric and diesel engine the model manages to provide about 750 kilometers, the batteries giving us about 50 kilometers from the total. Thanks to the outstanding design which combines the performance with the style the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics has a drag coefficient of just 0.22.
