So far the US will get a 2008 BMW 535i model which has a 3.0 liter inline 6-cylinder engine with twin turbochargers producing 300 horsepower and a 528i with inline 3.0 liter 6-cylinder engine that produces 230 horsepower.
BMW says improvements to the 2008 BMW 5-Series’ engines help obtain maximum fuel economy and minimum emissions. The 2008 BMW 5-Series also offers a wide range of innovations in driver assistance and comfort features including Active Steering, a High-Beam Assistant, BMW Night Vision, a Head-Up Display and Lane Change Warning.
