BMW multi-functional smart key – part II

We already announced the possibility of creating a BMW multi-functional smart key. BMW has released some extra information about their new creation.
As we said, the smart key will start with a few small features, acting like a ticket for public transportation. After that, the key will be used instead of a credit card. The new feature which will be available is keeping your key when you rent a BMW or get one from your friends. Now, any person who borrows a BMW and already owns the BMW multi-functional smart key can use it in that car. This way, his new car seat, radio and agenda settings will automatically load.
When the car is returned, the original settings can be easily introduced by the proper owner.
