The recently promised BMW M sub-brand has arrived and it presents itself with the special half-performance SAV models to begin the showing off process with. What we’re looking at here is typical branding and copyrighting prowess that gives hell to most average people trying to buy either of the BMW X5 or X6 SAV. The [...]
Remember that blurred out BMW X6 the Bavarians released a video of while they were driving it vigorously on some beautiful roads? It just got back and it brought along more friends to tell us just how good it is. Also, the weather in the video of the upcoming BMW X6 got a lot better. [...]
Until the Bavarians give us an M division prepped BMW X6 with a diesel engine, Senner Tuning is ready to offer a special take on the xDrive40d. The German tuner stuck to the basics of car tuning as they went over the BMW X6 xDrive40d and upgraded only what was necessary rather than what wasn’t [...]
BMW has made a rather special announcement these days and it has nothing to do with the recently finished Tokyo Motor Show nor with the recently started Bologna Motor Show. It’s becoming rather difficult to avoid talking about the BMW X6 and its recently spied facelift for the upcoming model, so we might as well get on with it. Over the last few days it’s been spotted all over the place and more and more images are beginning to turn up online in front of [...]
The BMW X6, codenamed E71, is a cross between a Sports Utility Vehicle and a Coupe car. It is named SAC (Sports Activity Coupe) and went into production in 2008. Two prototypes were presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2007, one with traditional propulsion (“Concept BMW X6″) and one with hybrid drive (“Concept X6 ActiveHybrid.”).
At 555 hp and 680 Nm of torque and being capable of reaching 170 mph (275 km/h), one would be more than satisfied by the power that the BMW X6 M can supply. But there will always be people that would want more and to cater to their wishes, tuning companies will continue to bring [...]
The tuning scene available for the BMW X6 is growing ever bigger and the latest “actor” to revise a part he’s playing on it is German tuner Lumma Design. The “act” Lumma Design has put together is quite impressive and is based on a BMW X6 xDrive50i eventually being called the CLR X 650 M.
