Yamaha Previews Daytona Bike Week Events

The Daytona Bike week for 2019 has come and gone, and if you missed it, well, that is unfortunate. The good news is it will come around again about the same time in March of 2020. The 2019 edition was the 78th anniversary of this event billed as the world’s largest motorcycle extravaganza. The event attracts people from around the world, often more than 500,000 bike lovers. Kick Off the Riding Season

The Daytona 200 is often billed as the start of the racing season, and in 2019 the race was won by Kyle Wyman on board a .

It was one of 11 Yamaha bikes in the top 20. Other bikes in the first 20 include the following:

Wyman was fourth in qualifying, three spots behind pole leader Sean Dylan Kelly. The 200 mile race is a test of endurance, strength, speed and teamwork.
