BMW Launches Online Ordering System for Its Models in the UK

I have never ever thought that at a certain point in the near future I would buy my favorite BMW model online just with a few clicks.

Well, with the fast-developing of the online technology everything is possible nowadays, and BMW has once more taken the first paces in launching a unique online ordering system in the UK, where almost everyone can buy its favorite BMW by just scrolling down the thousands of options available at your disposal.

Surely, BMW first had to test out the ongoing system, by conducted a trial with nine BMW UK retailers, 95 percent of them accepting to offer the service to their customers.

Nigel Hurley, Sytner Group BMW Divisional Managing Director, stated that “This is great news for retailers. It forms part of our ever more customer-centric focus and makes life easier for the customer. We see this becoming an increasingly important channel in the future.”

The system is very eas to use. All you have to do is build your BMW online, customize it with the available features, arrange a test drive if you decide on a certain model, set up all the financial details and the payment process and then contact a sales executive, which will deal with the rest of the transaction.

As BMW stated, the UK is the first market where the internet online system is currently offered, with 137 BMW retailers to benefit the system. If proven successful, other markets worldwide will follow, BMW expecting around 2.5 trillion revenues by 2020.
