The 2016 BMW X4 M Performance has been caught on shots on a world premiere, while the model was undergoing some tests, also wearing some camouflage.
This is a clear indication of the carmaker`s intentions of introducing a future M Performance model, which would put it just above the present X4 cDrive35i.
All M Performance prototype models are highly equipped, in order to deliver higher performance than the standard models.
We are talking thus about dual-exhaust system with exit pipe at the rear bumpers, a more aggressive body kit, larger brakes and much more.
Under the hood, the BMW X4 M Performance will be taking its power from a straight-six turbocharged unit, which in the present model develops 300 horsepower, for the 3.0-liter unit, so expect a much higher power on the M Performance version.
If things go well, the BMW X4 M Performance model is expected to show up in a world debut, at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show, with the model to hit its showrooms in 2016.
