The media has recently flared up with the start of the Sochi Winter Olympics, and most of that attention went towards the overall bad way the Russians handled it.
Still, among the various articles reaching the internet, there are a few good ones.
One is regarding BMW and their endeavor into alternative ways to get around. While a bobsled is not a common vehicle that manufacturers might take a shine to, when a giant like BMW takes a whack at it, all their expertise is sure to produce a quality product.
The best proof of this is the USA bobsled team that managed to grab the bronze medal at this year’s Winter Olympics. And while a bronze medal might not be the best result, it is the first medal the USA team won since 1952. So thanks to the German car maker, the US managed to grab a position on the podium, a position that could have been higher if one of the athletes hadn’t sustained an injury.
