What Car?, Britain`s most famous and biggest car buyer`s guide, has recently made another important nomination, also concerning the BMW car luxury manufacturer.
After giving BMW i3`s trophy for the “Green Car of the Year”, out-running its rivals Renault Zoe and Tesla Model S, it was time for the BMW 435i to be nominated the Coupe of the Year.
BMW 435i Coupe had to face top challenge from Seat Leon SC and Audi TT for the What Car? Coupes category.
The criteria involved for winning the coupes category were simply enough for the three nominee. It concerned the price tags and other features and specs of the car.
BMW comes with a target price of £40,819 and stood up in front of its competitors with a 3.0-liter TwinPower inline 6-cylinder, 24-valve and 300 horsepower engine. The engine has an electronically controlled cooling and Driving Dynamics Control with ECO PRO, COMFORT and SPORT settings.
Other features that were winners, were the car`s halogen free-form front foglights, Air Breather and Star Spoke 18×8.0 light alloy wheels.
Inside, the on-board computer with Check Control, was also decisive for the BMW 435i to be the Coupe of the Year.
