M Performance Parts will be fitted to all BMW 4 Series
The BMW 3 Series Coupe was always a bit the rebel of the bunch, and with the car lineup differentiation BMW is working on, the car maker will make the 3’s successor ever more of a beast.
Apart from the more aggressive design style, BMW also has special plans for the 4 Series performance-wise.
According to a recent report, all of the 4 Series versions will be sporting M Performance Parts, from the entry level to the range topping. So the 4 Series Coupe, no matter if it’s the 428i, 435i or 420d, will be receiving a power boost from the get-go.
How does this translate to numbers? Well the standard 428i would normally put out some 245 Hp and 350 Nm, but with the M Performance Parts, power is increased to 272 Hp and 390 Nm of torque. In a similar fashion, the 435i will see an increase from 306 Hp to 340 Hp and from 400 Nm to 450 Nm. The 420d diesel burner will produce 200 Hp and 309 Nm, up from 184 Hp and 380 Nm.
