BMW released the first promotional video for the new X5, a model unveiled few days ago. The German SUV will be seen later this year at the Frankfurt Motor Show with deliveries to begin this winter.
In terms of styling, there is a clear evolution with more aggressive headlights, a bigger front grille, new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, hood and alloy wheels.
Inside, there is more space while higher quality materials give the customer that premium feel. Power will be provided by several units with outputs ranging from 258hp to 450hp.
A fuel-efficient sDrive25d version promises to revolutionize the segment by offering the best-in-class CO2 emissions. The Germans at BMW claim that this model is capable to return figures of just 149 g/km.
BMW will produce the 2014 X5 in Germany but also in North America, namely at the Spartanburg plant.
