With the official debut being rumored to take place at the upcoming Detroit Motor Show in 2013, the F15 BMW X5 is slowly dropping camouflage and letting us get a closer look, at least when it comes to the exterior design.
As we can see, the 2014 BMW X5 will benefit a from redesigned front bumper, a slightly revised overall form but also sharper optical blocks, similar to the ones fitted on the latest generations of the F30 3 Series, for instance.
In terms of the engine range, there are no official information but expect several well-known BMW engines to be available on the new X5 as well.
A safe bet is the 3.0-liter turbo-diesel power plant while more potent 3.0-liter turbocharged or 4.4-liter V8 units will find their place in the range as well.
BMW may also introduce a hybrid version of the 2014 BMW X5, a model which, most likely, will benefit from a 3.0-liter six-cylinder unit and an electric motor.
