1.000.000th BMW X5 unit left the factory’s gates

BMW announced that the production of X5 model reached a record: that of one million units sold in 11 years of model’s life. The model that marked the record will go to a customer in China. BMW is celebrating these days a new production record achieved this time by the X5 model. The German SUV managed to tick one million copies produced in the 11 years of automotive market.


The unit that marked the historic moment for X5 is an anniversary xDrive35i version that is individualized by the body color, black sapphire metallic, and brown leather upholstery Nevada. The model arose in the plant in Spartanburg, United States, and will be delivered to an anonymously customer in China.

At his automotive stage debut, specifically in 1999, BMW X5 marked the debut of a new segment, the SUV one, which then continued to grow steadily.
