BMW is preparing intensively for the release of the performance version of the current 5 Series. Future BMW M5 F10 is expected as soon as possible to compete with its rivals Mercedes E63 AMG and Audi RS6.
In case you forgot, the 2011 BMW M5 F10 is equipped with a a twin-turbocharged V8 engine which develops over 550 hp. The engine that will be found on the future M5 is based on the engine that equips the new X5 M and X6 M. BMW will use the EfficientDynamics technology even on the new BMW M5 F10, following the model to have a lower fuel consumption than the previous generation and the CO2 emissions will also be lower compared to the previous generation.
