Spy Shots: BMW 3 Series Touring F30 caught during tests
Here we have some new spy photos from Carpix with the future generation of the BMW 3 Series Touring F30 that will debut somewhere in 2012.
BMW engineers are testing the future 3 Series in Touring version through the streets of Germany. The model will start somewhere in 2012 and suffered many changes. Although this model’s facelift has just debuted on the European market with some aesthetic changes and innovations under the hood, those from BMW are preparing something much more important for the future generation of 3 Series bearing the internal code F30.
Among the surprises prepared by BMW we can list the range of engines taken from 5 Series – with small changes, obviously. The design will also be adapted to set the 5 Series F10, but 3 Series lines 3 will present the true state of the model, the design being not adapted to the 5 Series to transform 3 Series in a smaller brother. There is the possibility of introducing three-cylinder engines in the 3 Series range, but that significant change may not be present on the model in its first years of life.
