BMW officials have launched a set of photos that show how the Gran Coupe concept left the drawing plate and became reality. BMW officials have released some pictures with which we can see the processes that Gran Coupe concept passed through before the debut at the Beijing Auto Show.
The key regarding the concept design is the front of the car that have similar silhouette with a shark nose, lights having LED technology, slightly conical shape of the roof and doors with frameless windows. Moreover, people from BMW wish to keep their design values that have established, by following this concept to serve as inspiration for future models of the manufacturer in Munich.
“BMW Gran Coupe concept combines the exclusivity of a Gran Turismo with a fascination and performance of a sports model”, BMW officials said at the presentation.
The concept presented in Beijing prefigures the successor of 5 Series and also wants to be a serious rival for the Porsche Panamera, Mercedes-Benz CLS and Audi A7.
