After we presented you here some main details and photos for the BMW Gran Coupe Concept unveiled at Beijing Auto Show, now we’ll see some extra photos and details.
This concept means for the Bavarian manufacturer, BMW, something more than a future production model, because Gran Coupe’s lines are going to be present on other BMW models in the not too far future. The features such as large wheelbase, sloping bonnet, the front which has a figure similar to “a shark nose” and athletic silhouette of this model might be present on other models in coming years if this model records the expected success among the public.
The front grille emblematic for BMW will remain part of the BMW’s design, but the metal vertical bars will be twisted. The grid will be completed by a set of large ventilation slots and doors with frameless windows, as in the case of a real coupe. BMW officials have not announced a release date of this model, but we expect to see a model derived from the concept on the market over the next three years.
