Here we have the 2012 BMW 135is, caught in spy shots on Nurburgring. People from Carpix provided us new spy images with the most performant version of the BMW 1 Series Coupe. Although the name of this version has not been announced yet by the people from BMW, the rumors suggest that the name will be 135is or M1.
The first informations about this model reveals that it is equipped with a 3.0 liter six-cylinder with two turbines and is capable to develop 326 hp and a torque of 450 Nm. Compared with the BMW 135i, it would provide extra 6.6% power and torque increased by 12.5%.
Rumors announces two distinct performance versions of the BMW 1 Series Coupe, which means two different versions of power and possibly two separate versions of the body package, suspension and brakes, but they are just rumors, for now. Instead, both specimens tested so far show subtle modified body parts compared to the standard, with inflated bumpers, modified wings and wider tires mounted on 18 inch rims.
