BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo instead M3 Sedan? Very Possible

The next generation of the BMW 3 Series model will give up the M3 performance sedan version but will adopt a new variant of body: Gran Turismo. BMW is preparing to launch in 2012 the new generation 3 Series model, also know as F30.

The rival of the Audi A4 model will be developed on an entirely new platform with a MSB architecture. This fact means that the new model will share a series of components with future Series 1. The German model will proball start, most likely on March 2012, in the four-door sedan body variant, following then to take another four new derivatives.

More exactly, in September 2012 the public will be introduced to the break version, in September 2013 with the coupe version and in March 2014 with the convertible one. To all these will be added a completely new derivative for the German model. We are talking about the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo.
