Alpina engineers have optimized the intake, the air filter, the disposal and replaced the standard pistons with a set of extremely strong MAHLE pistons, which enables a boost pressure of 1.2 bar while the compression ratio reached 9.4:1. The cooling system was also improved dramatically, adapting the capabilities of the cooling system to the new performances reached.
The new Alpina B3 Biturbo S can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds, reaching a top speed of 300 km/h. The average consumption is 9.7 liters per 100 kilometers and the emissions are 224-225 grams of CO2 (depending on body version) per kilometer. Aesthetic changes applied to this model are minimal, people from Alpina adding a set of 19 inch alloy wheels, a new front spoiler, a leather sports steering wheel and a set of Alpina board watches.
