AC Schnitzer presented at Geneva the modifications brought to BMW 5-Series GT. It received a number of design and interior changes, the mechanics being less important for the German tuner.
German tuner AC Schnitzer has presented at the Geneva Motor Show an own vision of BMW 5-Series GT. They have not focused on engine modifications, the top priority for the tuner being the exterior and interior design. The model used by AC Schnitzer has a 3.0 liter diesel engine which after small modifications produces 286 horsepower, with 41 horsepower more than the series version.
Also, the Germans mounted a set of Schnitzer suspension with which the comfort while driving has been improved. On the exterior, the tuners installed new front and rear spoilers, new ventilation slots for the engine put on the hood with a chromed shape of a spider canvas and new thresholds. For the tuning to be completely, AC Schnitzer has prepared numerous wheels versions for BMW 5-Series GT. Their size can vary between 19 and 22-inch, and customers can choose between wheels painted in one or two colors. The price wasn’t announced yet.
