BMW – Leader at Fuel Reduction and CO2 Emissions in Europe

EfficientDynamics is the most effective program to reduce CO2 emissions in car traffic. By achieving a reduction of 10.2 percent in the last year in terms of fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, BMW Group once again achieved most progress in terms of efficiency, of all car manufacturers present on the European market.

This is the result of an analysis provided by the European Federation for Transport and Environment (T&E), which clearly confirms – as in the past two years – remarkable performance of the BMW EfficientDynamics strategy.

The average CO2 emissions of 154 grams per kilometer, BMW and MINI cars are well ahead of all other premium manufacturers in terms of emissions, surpassing even volume European car manufacturers, and many other car manufacturers that put great emphasis on the small cars in their portfolio. BMW Group owes its leading position in Europe at an early and intensive uses of technologies that support efficiency for all range of models.
