BMW expects subtle increase of sales for 2010

We wrote in a previous article the increasing sales in November 2009 compared to November 2008. Now we’ll analyse the tendency of the German manufacturer in term of sales. The BMW’s directors estimate that BMW will get a return of sales next year, thanks to the launch of new models. Bavarians consider that growth trend will continue in the future, but in a slow and steady rhythm.

Germans at BMW expect the sales to rise slightly during the next year. In early 2009, those from BMW announced that he expects sales to fall by 10 or 15 percent compared with 2008. BMW’s directors announced it expects to record a subtle increase sales in 2010, which will take place gradually.

The main reason for the expected sales growth is launching the new 5-Series, along with fresh release of the X1. The two models should increase sales of the Bavarian brand in the next period and next year, but growth will be subtle, because we are talking of premium models which will record many commands only in some markets. One of the markets where BMW hopes to have a very good year is one in China, which became the fourth market for German manufacturer in 2009.
