BMW Racing Cars for 2010
BMW is planning to intensify the production and development for touring car racing and GT in the coming years. The cars will participate in the ALMS (Amercian Le Mans Series) and (WTCC) FIA World Touring Car Championship. Mario Theissen, the BMW Motorsport Director said that he is pleased that is able to offer to their fans an attractive programme after the first year of leaving Formula One.
In the Formula One programme will be included the Formula BMW Europe, and also the Formula BMW Pacific. They will also expand the customer racing programme, and will be offering a new car, that is BMW Z4 that compiles with GT3 regulations.
In the World Touring Car Championship BMW will be lining up different to previous years. As a conclusion, BMW is ready for 2010 to demonstrate the performance of their cars. Two BMW M3 GT2 send by BMW Rahal Letterman Racing Team will race for GT2 title in the ALMS.
